Hello Loocie!
I have only a few moments to send a message. I think of you daily and admire your perseveration! You have been so kind to DH and I with your posts and poems! Virtual hugs and real prayers coming your way. Hope the sunshine finds you each day (not the threatening sun, but the hopeful sun.)

So here’s my latest predicament, I am having one helluva time with my vision. It seems that I have cataracts on both eyes. My left eye is pretty much entirely useless. My right eye is better, but also affected. So, this is likely due to the study drug. I will be having this corrected by an Ophthalmologist soon as possible. It’s like looking through a soapy window or a hazy fog all the time. Very frustrating. I cannot read, or watch TV very well for that matter. So, while I am very relieved that this can be corrected, I have to wait this out for a at least a few weeks. I will soon be as good as new…..it’s just the meantime. I have Princess Margaret next Tuesday (my regular appointment) & we’ll see what will be happening with me in regards to my treatment. See you when I can. Xxxx

Hello Loocie! Bad news - Good news - very frustrating indeed! I'm glad that you can have the cataracts treated, though. Hoping for all the best outcomes for you in the next while, and always!

Well then!!!!! I am officially off the Clinical Yrial Study Drug. It may be at the route of my cataracts. (more than likely). So I now wait about a couple of weeks to see Ophthalmology at PMH & we take it from here. I hope that this will be corrected very soon. My scans looked good. My doctor saw very little change...which is what we want. I must admit that I am looking forward to having a break from chemo drugs. Maybe my hair will grow into some wonderful stylish look.

Glad to hear that the scans show no growth. Take these next couple of weeks of vision limitations to look inwards and reflect on all the goodness that is within you and then direct it towards your strength of healing.
Prayers are continuing to come your way dear Loocie

If change is as good as a rest, is a rest as good as a...vacation??
Happy to hear there's very little change from your previous scan, Loocie...time for a few deep breaths..
