Do you mind if I make this post festive & filled with Christmas expectations?
Have you seen all those delectable treats & aren't they delightful sweet temptations?
Do you like wrapping presents & would you consider wrapping mine?
Or are you the kind of "Rapper" who keeps perfect Christmas time?
Do you know that CD's are a passé gift & so are VHS tapes & cassettes?
Don't you agree that it is best to buy Christmas sweaters in sets?
Have I told that I am happy to be here To thank you all for fun & frolic?
Do you know that I think it is best to try not to be melancholic?
Will you take a moment to be less frustrated & more relaxed?
Don't you just agree that giving should never have strings attached?
When you stuff those stockings do you feel happy Christmas anticipation?
Do you know that Buon Natale! does not need any English translation?

Another year gone & 365 days passed!
One thing that goes without saying is that time does go by fast,
We cram so much into our lives & we’re prone to sometimes overextend,
& sometimes we hold our ground & sometimes we need to bend,
The year two thousand & fifteen, once distant & futuristic,
& are we any wiser or at the least more humanistic?
Keep centered & keep hope,
Stay grounded & keep scope,
Have a purpose, hold it close,
Keep it real, not grandiose,
Share with friends, no matter how immense,
Don’t compromise your scruples, they give you sense,
Use eloquence when speaking your mind,
For once you blurt, you cannot rewind,
Make resolutions that you’re prepared to resolve,
Tend to that baggage that you need to absolve,
Keep the finger of blame pointed to where it really belongs,
Right all the rights & if you can, right the wrongs,
Ring in the New Year with unbiased impartiality,
As we all will be here again with some commonality,
A place to visit or comfy room just to gather,
Bring your gift of the gab, & I'll bring the blather,
What else can I add to my usual musings?
Except, I hope you’ll all be back for more goofing & schmoozin’.

I'm looking forward to getting on with things. I am still in the dark when it comes to just how things are going to work with my new treatment plan. I do know that I will be spending even more time at PMH & there is the strong possibility of some not so nice side effects. Cross that bridge when I absolutely have to.
It is getting a bit chilly outside & I am just hoping for a winter that is kinder to us this year.
In gratitude to all you fine people who inspire me. xx
This picture was taken in 1982. I am realizing that I still have basically the same hair style. That is my real hair colour too. In those days we weren't into getting highlights & all those other bells & whistles (spas? nails? tattoos?) That was the year of Michael Jackson's Thriller, Prince William was born, I watched Simon & Simon, we didn't have a VCR & I was still single. I guess it's a good thing we didn't get all inked in what was trendy.
