I need help with another one of my trains
NickAndAmber has not answered my pm's
. The last two were on July 28, the next on Aug. 3rd, and she/he was on Aug. 9th. I sent one today as well asking her to respond otherwise I would need to contact the trade moderator. So I am hoping that will get her to respond. I think I attract all the bad ones

Ok... I have questions......
Can a person erase a rating?
I just received a message from a trader who said they haven't received my envie and it has been over a month. Well I had marked that trade down as complete... so I searched my PMs and sure enough up pops the person's message that a trade rating had been left (you know the automated one we all receive). I tried to click on it and it would never complete... so I went searching my feedback page and the other traders feedback page and that days rating is mysteriously not there? But I have the PM? Is that possible?
It was a trade where I sent lots of very coveted coupons (nexxus, deli meats, hunts) and now I am wondering what is going on. Is it fishy?Last edited by hollyhill; Fri, Aug 26th, 2011 at 06:02 PM.

I have the same sort of PM system but I go one extra step.
I have:
Pending Trades
Received Trades - trades I received, but still haven't been notified or received feedback that the other person has received their trade
Completed Trades
No Trades - talked about trading, but trade didn't go through.

Since this is the only place we can discuss negative things about trades/trains, I'm going to be brutally honest with my disappointment in my first train (that I have not yet received). I joined one for the first time specifically because one of the requirements was a 5 or higher trade rating only to become a rider on a train that has a user with THREE posts on the forum and a zero trade rating.
Hopefully I am proven wrong & the train isn't either derailed, or there are actually coupons of use on a train that I'm paying a BP for; but if a conductor specifically states a rule in their own train, they should stick by that.

I never knew this board existed till today ... I have a problem that I have been unable to resolve regarding a newbie train I conducted. I will try to condense the issue as of today but this is the train I'm trying to finalize:

Started the train before strike, some envelopes were mailed before, some after. After a very long wait, rec'd most of the envelopes, but to this day 2 are still outstanding: Unigirl (train #1) and Scoothchidoo's (train#3) After waiting a ridiculous amount of time for them to arrive we all agreed that I would send them off without these riders cpns. Not wanting to disappoint the other riders I put in an additional 4 cpns for each of the riders on behalf of these 2 riders and asked riders to leave the appropriate feedback as if the rider had sent them - which most have not to date. In total I added 16 extra cpns for each train, plus I replaced all expired cpns sent by other riders - which were only expired b/c of strike. Sent the envelopes out to all riders and have rec'd feedback from most - have sent PM's to those outstanding and still waiting to see the FB.
Now the issue is this and honestly never thought anything of it till another rider brought it to my attention. Scoothchidoo has never acknowledged that she actually sent the envelope in the thread and hasn't replied to any of the emails I sent her. I've asked her to acknowledge receiving the envelope I sent her with the other riders cpns, but nothing. She has not posted feedback on others either and no one has posted feedback for her.
The other rider Unigirl sent her WL, but didn't include her mailing address when she joined the train. I emailed her requesting it but rec'd, no response. Put her envelope together, ready to mail it and realized her mailing address was incomplete. Emailed her numerous times since and no response. To date, her envelope is sitting here on my counter, sealed but has no where to go cause she won't send address. I sent a message to a mod but never rec'd a response - most likely cause I sent it to the wrong person. I have an envelope of cpns that were intended for this rider and until I am advised on what to do, they will remain sealed on my counter. *I just opened it and the majority of the cpns have or are going to expire.
Please advise on what I should do with both of these riders feedback and Unigirl's envelope.

I too have received phantom trade ratings in the past, I assumed they were deleted or something
usually when you click on it, it goes to a weird link, its not smartcanucks.ca/itrader, its a domain ip followed by itrader (eg 123.45.6.7/itrader

For the mysterious iTrader message - did the person comment on the iTrader rating? If you click on the iTrader rating you left for them, does it show a message you left when rating them and a reply from them underneath?
Whenever someone comments on a rating I've left, I've gotten that weirdly formatted message that I have "a new (username) rating or comment from" followed by links that don't work. Note that iTrader rating messages will usually say you have "a new Positive rating or comment at iTrader from (username)". Whenever I've gotten a message saying I've gotten a new (username) comment or rating, that message can usually be found by looking at the rating I left for (username), and I will see they have left a comment on it.
Could that be what happened in hollyhill's case? Perhaps the other user just commented on the rating, and didn't actually leave a rating? Expecially since she says if she clicks on the links in the message, they don't work. It would be easy to check - hollyhill just needs to click on the rating she left the other user, and see if there is a comment from the user below hers. Just one possible explanation

Thats plausable Jeniana. Were looking into it. BUT the other trader was quite rude to both Holly and I.
I just don't understand how someone can get so upset over $4.00 in coupons.
Sometimes it becomes a he said she said and there is no way to clearly say which party is in the wrong.
