Today I was moving around some things on the patio in back and I couldn't get the big container with all my outdoor cushions to move. It was frozen to the ground still and when I finally moved it there was a ton of ice under it and all the blocks were heaved.
There is no way I will be planting on the long May weekend this year.

Golf clubs are feeling the same about the rain-they could be filled with golfers keen to get on the fairways.
Think of this week as plan B week-do indoor work, planning work, prep work (aka getting supplies organized or bought). Once that rain moves along and the sun is out, we'll be outside.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Frigid air here and washed out sky. Am thinking some neon plastic outdoor furniture and pillows and t-shirts might help with SPRING thoughts. And the occasional flower opening (glad that is happening).

Why is it always so grey? Where is the sun?

^ here, you have to get colder to get the sun, it seems.
It's been grey for days, but this morning at -1, LOTS of sun!
Now that it's warming, sun goes away...
