How did you cook your duck? Maybe I'll try something new next time!
I just prepped it by trimming, washing and poking a million holes through the skin/fat with a fork. Poured a tonne of boiling water on it to tighten the skin, seasoned with salt and pepper and stuck it in the oven! lol
I could have glazed it..but I was lazy.
I love duck.. Mmm crispy skin!

We are going to a bbq tonight so I am sure there will be something veggie for me (other than the salad I'm bringing I hope).
I am bringing dessert and a salad. I am making a strawberry and poppyseed goat cheese salad with spicy candied pecans
for dessert a homemade toasted coconut cake with lime cream filling and hamburger cupcakes for the kids

Tonight I had quiche loraine. On the side were whole wheat nacho chips topped with onions, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese and homemade salsa. I made the salsa tonight in the magic bullet with tomatoes, pickled garlic a very small touch of olive oil and bit of yellow peppers and of course salt and pepper.

Frozen store-bought veggie lasagna, with rolls and salad. The lasagna (Basilli's Best) was on clearance for $3!
and it is not bad for not-home-made

Wow, awesome! I did my first duck last year - and it's a lot of work! Mind you, it's not something I would want very often, anyway...
Send PM
Tonight is veggie burgers on the bbq, spinach bites and a side salad
