We might just be thinking of moving back to Calgary, after this election.

I am looking forward to seeing who the PCs choose as leader now that Hudak is resigning, hopefully someone more moderate who can heal the party
But I also hope they learned from the John Tory fiasco and do not choose a federal member and force someone into resigning to give them a seat (Tony Clement and Lisa Raitt are rumoured to want it). I would love to see Christine Elliott (wife of Jim Flaherty) win, three women leaders would say a lot about Ontario being progressive in politics
Most of the commentators are saying we will see Wynne reign in spending and take a harder line with unions in order to balance the budget, 6 months before the next election (Sept-Oct 2018) there will be an independent review of Ontario's finances and it would look bad if she still has a deficit. If you are thinking about buying a house, there are a lot of rumours about them adding a tax on houses, especially new builds and developers.

No comment other than to say I was pleased to see the liberal candidate was already having his signs removed tonight. He was the winner but has been our MP for over 10 years but still nice to see as i can't stand the signs left up for ages

Considering there were still some signs up from the last election when this one started, I am not holding my breath on the ones here coming down

well as the token lesbian here, whoopi.
was there when the bob rae gov't signed into the
human rights code that sexual orientation
would be included.
so can never explain what this vote meant to me.
excuse me for a sec while i indulge myself,
(hey i would if the roles were reversed, imagine that..)
as someone who was there when the bathhouse
raids happened, and the beginning of what
is now the biggest gay pride days,
(the protest marches) - i am pleased. (although feeling a little old,,,)
grabbed from Adam Goldenberg (tvo twitter)
'No openly gay person has ever been elected as Head of Government anywhere in the Commonwealth or the English-speaking world. Until tonight.'
thought the election should not have been called, bad idea andrea,
and more than one person agreed,,,- big waste of money.
pcs have some math where minus 100,000 jobs equals a million?
so was a strategist voter and did not vote ndp, and voted
for the woman i wish had kissed her wife,
(the straight people do that)
extra special i am so leftist i am left handed.
