amira84 you're house sound like mine.
Expect for chicken especially chicken wings, most time I have to make more than 1 meal.
Everyone one eats potatoes, but not everyone eats rice.
My youngest don't eat bread of any kind, not even cookies, can you imagine the challenge in making lunch for school. No one eats eggs...and the list goes on.
I just tell people each one have there 4 favourite food, and I just give them it.
That makes life way easier....

Cdngal I was in labour for over 50 hours with my last, after that I ask them to stop counting.....
Then went from 6cm to delivery in about 15-20 minutes.

Hi All,
Happy hump day.
Trying to get moving this morning, as yesterday I did absolutely nothing that I had planned.
My headache was just too bad, when the thunderstorm started however I understood why my head was hurting me so badly. Any one else get headaches with the weather?
So off to do my first load now, and to take the ground beef out for dinner, making spaghetti with meat sauce.

I had a long labour with LO. I will always be a high risk pregnancy because of my own health condition, so we had moved up to Saskatoon to wait for our baby to arrive. My contractions started on September 4th (our wedding anniversary, so I got checked out at the hospital...no nice dinner for us). I was walking around Saskatoon 3cm dilated, visiting family and friends, going to the movie theatre, and shopping. Good contractions started on September 8th and LO was born at 7:16am on September 9th. *shrug* I didn't let them augment my labour because I understood the increased risks. I had a completely natural labour and delivery, which is what I had wanted.

That is a crazy long time to be in labour. Both my children were 12 hours start to finish. No contractions before my water broke. Apparently water breaking first is not the norm, so I suppose I was special

Happy Hump day! Yeah, I kind of forgot it was mid week . I had a pretty good morning before getting everyone off to school and myself off to work. The laundry I washed last night I hung out to dry. Put a whole chicken in the slowcooker. Made my little man an amazing little lunch with our new Rubbermaid block thing (oldest took cheeseburgers that I made the other night for his lunches). I brought cereal and a banana for breakfast. Didn't bring lunch but put a load in washer this morning before leaving home so will go home at lunch to hang it out to dry and make something quick to eat. Need to get DS indoor shoes as the ones I bought were too small so hope to pick some up that fit and if not he needs to come with me tonight for a quick stop. Tonight I plan to pull the meat of the chicken while the rice is cooking. Eat. Clean the kitchen. Put away the dry laundry. Post some items for sale. Tidy up the storage/laundry room a bit.

Truth be told. I have never had my water broke, it has always been done by a Doctor in the hospital.
I always say, I don't know what it like to feel that break .

My water broke around 2:30am while I was in the tub. I went from 5cm dilated at midnight to LO being born at 7:16am. He did a face up delivery, which would explain my back labour.

Wow. You guys are so busy in your houses. God bless you. I just keep sitting on my couch reading all the threads. Lol

But now that i am in the mood i am hoping to clean (mega clean) upstairs, do laundry, fold laundry (which i never do). Oh yes.. And i have to cook something too.... I have yet to decide because my hubby eats only and only chicken, son doesnt like chicken pieces but he likes curry from chicken curry, hubby and son like uncooked vegetables which we cant eat with naan bread. There has to be some curry with naan. So clueless right now....

Now i will keep posting in this thread. It's like keeping a daily diary.

Happy first day of school!!! YAY!!!!!

I got to meet my new niece yesterday. my poor sister endured 29 hours of labour with no drugs or epidural. ouch!!! she is tougher than me, I concede defeat.

Hope eveyone has a wonderful day. Also, hope Caseythegoalie is doing okay, haven't noticed her post for a while.

Wowsers, that's so long of a labour! I was induced, in labour 10 hours before baby went into distress and I had to have an emergency c-section.

I pretty much took yesterday off.... all I did productively was to make supper.
Today, I've been doing things here and there, trying to space things out.

LuvToUseCoupons - I, too, get headaches with coming storms - it's the change in barometric pressure. I also feel it in my hands and knees - sucks being old to feel these latter aches, never used to happen.

Nat I was endue on day 1.
Day 2 after no progress I was induce again.
Day 3 I was 1 cm my Doctor said here we go, and broke my water at only 1 cm.
I think by then they had had it.

Yes, it sucks being old. lol.
I sometimes wonder if it's cause by my high BP?

Finished an afghan last night. Today I have to sew buttons on towels and thread ribbon through a ruffled afghan.

Yesterday I found bananas on the reduced rack for the first time in ages. Guess I`ll be baking some banana muffins for my neighbour...it`s long overdue.

Afternoon All,

Went to have the truck looked at and the mechanic said the reader cleared it and he thinks it's a weird clitch, said to leave it alone and anyways that part would be covered by warranty for 2 years (phew) so we'll see if it shows up again BUT had to get an oil change while there which was needed.

Small load of laundry on the line so nice here today.

Dh & I had homemade soup for lunch I pulled from the freezer and I also pulled some naan bread and made him a Panini with 1, so the other 2 naan breads will do him the rest of the week along with more soups and/or leftovers (haha).

Pulled pork is in the crockpot and buns are defrosting.

Plan to another couple dessert recipes for the guys lunches tomorrow, I have more energy in the am, however, it's ironic as I am definitely not a morning person at all.
