No offense but I am sure glad it is not here. I really don't enjoy winter too much.

    Good morning, everyone.

D's b-day was fun, which is all that matters. Have to type quietly, the brats and our houseguest are still asleep. That's what happens when one has one too many raspberry beers while watching a House of Cards marathon.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Must say I love your sense of humour, I'm sure it gets you through the ruff days.
You should see me teasing the specialists I have. It took me 3 yrs to get one doctor to crack a smile, now he grins as soon as he sees me.

Besides, if I dared start in with self-pity around here, Lily dog and Quincy cat would quickly put me in my place (it's all about them and the lack of cookies I've been doling out lately).

Please be kind and keep the white stuff in your neck of the woods. If not, I might have to be cruel and send you the 6+ yrs of non-stop construction I've had the pleasure of experiencing (I'm located in downtown Toronto, literally in the middle of where the PanAm Games will be next year - the Athlete's Village will be across the street, and the Welcome Centre is literally on the other side of the alley that runs behind my building).

    Hi All,
    Happy hump day.
Taking it easy today, just doing laundry, and some light tidying up.
Still trying to figure out what's for dinner.
Debating where or not I should go to the store to pick up a few items that I didn't get, but telling myself it will be more frugal if I stay home and miss this sale, we'll see what I do later.
Hope you're all having a frugal day .

So happy you got a date this month, hoping this relieves the pain, your peace of mind and suffering hopefully will come to an end. As for cold/hot sensitivity as you said you can deal with that although it's not pleasant I understand.

    Take care hun!

I have been a tidying up machine this am, I am tired of all the extra stuff that we don't need or want SO I am going to post a bunch of houseware items on a few facebook pages and hopefully some will go. The only thing is it's hard selling stuff when you are rural (in the woods - lol) as people don't want to drive the distance but heck it's worth a shot, if no nibbles I will send the stuff with FIL to the re-use it centre as dh will be away starting next weekend and I don't want to clutter the basement after all this sorting etc.....

^ oy, don't blame you, lizzie! Heard it's really crazy in Calgary - and elsewhere, too, I'm sure.
    None here, just cold.

Finished two big dutch ovens of borscht - it's not perfect, but tastes good. I have one big problem when I make soups of any kind - too much stuff in proportion to broth. So I will let them sit for the afternoon, and see if I need to fix anything before supper.

So it's lovely to be frugal and make these homemade things - but OMG this took SO much work!

    Hope everyone is doing well.

coupon girl - so glad there is a plan in place so you can get rid of your troubles!
