Boxed mac 'n' cheese, a gourmet feast from scratch, an easy bake cake, or fresh homemade bread...
...we all have some level of cooking and baking skills...
What was the last thing you've cooked or baked?

Last night for supper, cooked chicken wings, potatoes, and made a Caesar salad.
Last things I baked were banana breads a few days ago.

I don't bake often. Not because I don't enjoy it but its not good for my diet. lol. I do a lot of baking at Christmas (lots of cookie platters for events we go to). I also bake apple pies every thanksgiving (we make a day out of it and pick our own apples then make everything from scratch).
I cook dinner almost every night. Last night was spaghetti and garlic bread. Tonight baked chicken and mashed potatoes.
I hate highly processed stuff but my kids are starting to ask for it, I recently caved and bought the canned ravioli and now they love it. It's funny how kids love all the stuff adults don't.

Let's see...the last thing I made.....that would be last May...no, I lied. I poured my own coffee this morning!!
Cooking and baking is what I miss most now...and walking...but I do miss baking bread, cooking new recipes with my hubby...we find new recipes, he goes out to get any ingredients we need, and we cook them together..I miss that.
We both love food, trying new recipes, loving the old standards...I was very lucky as a young wife in the 70s cooking for the first time...I had some 'not so successful' dinners and the worst my hubby would say when I asked was something like, "It's fine...but maybe not too often...?"...LOL!! I think that's why I became a more adventurous cook..he never turned his nose up on anything...some just became "things we don't make often"...read: never again!

I cooked 7 mini-lasagnas and a crock pot of chili last weekend to freeze and send with DH to school. Since he's been gone I haven't really cooked for myself, just been snacking on lots of raw fruit/veggies and whatever leftovers I had in the fridge/freezer. Usually we cook or bbq something almost every night.
I baked last weekend too. A dozen monster-sized ginger molasses cookies for myself, somehow they are all gone now, which is why I don't bake often :D

Last thing I cooked was baked chicken, corn on the cob, and a salad. Last thing I baked was chocolate chip cookies from scratch. I rarely bake due to my diet. Most of my baking is done closer to Christmas for gifts, company visiting etc.

On Tuesday afternoon I baked 2 1/2 dozen banana zucchini chocolate chip muffins. I also baked a pan of cranberry white chocolate oatmeal squares, but they were too dry. It was a recipe from WM, but I won't make it again. I have much better recipes that I use.
Wednesday night I made hamburgers from scratch, fried onion on the side, white mac and cheese (from box, like dh prefers), and marinated vegetables (garden tomatoes, zucchini, and celery).
I enjoy baking more, but I do most of the cooking in our household. Dh can certainly cook, but he works more hours than me.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

I bake pretty often. I make tea biscuits and homemade bread at least once a week. This morning I baked cinnamon rolls and tea biscuits. I bake cookies/muffins occasionally but not that often.
