You know, I'd rethink this business of revoking the passports of radical nut cases who want to travel overseas. It's like....No! You may not go overseas, you can stay here and feel free to shoot a Canadian!
LET them go overseas, then flag their passports and keep then OUT! They can happily die over there and meet their 40 virgins!

I think this guy acted alone. I have a feeling he was probably nothing more than a Islamic terrorist wannabe who likely had mommy issues.

Kevin Vickers prevented any more deaths on that horrible day on Parliment Hill.
http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/10...3-oco-vickers/
Kevin Vickers was different. Most high-ranking cops, at least to native eyes, would come rolling into Burnt Church, N.B., with two or three other officers in tow, looking and acting like what they were: outsiders.
But not RCMP Inspector Vickers.
He was dispatched to the troubled Burnt Church wharf 14 years ago to keep the peace between native and non-native fishermen during a tense and, at times, violent dispute over native lobster fishing rights. Whether on duty or off, the inspector would show up in the community, often alone, and often with his white shirtsleeves rolled up, ready to listen.
He knew the fishermen by their first names. He defused the tensions however he could.
“The inspector was a real community man,” says Bobby Sylliboy, a longtime band constable with the Burnt Church First Nation. “People around here, let me tell you, they hold him in the highest regard. He was this 6-foot-3, non-native guy, coming to our reserve — and even coming to our Christmas vigils. He was hard to miss. He was a Down East guy, just a guy from the Miramichi.
“But to us, he was the chief.”The best things in life...aren't things

Police draw guns, arrest man at National War Memorial as MPs gather
TORONTO – Police drew their guns on a man near the National War Memorial in Ottawa Thursday morning, yelling for him to “get down,” before taking him into custody.
Ottawa Police said he was arrested for “disturbing the crime scene at the Cenotaph” but offered no further information.
“It’s just somebody that tried to breach the crime scene, and that’s all we have for now,” Ottawa police Const. Marc Soucy told The Canadian Press.
Federal politicians gathered at the National War Memorial in Ottawa this morning prior to the resumption of Parliament to pay their respects to the fallen Canadian soldier gunned down at the base of the monument on Wednesday.
A witness said Prime Minister Stephen Harper had “just arrived” at the scene when police pulled their guns on the unknown man.
Several dozen Members of Parliament met in front of the memorial around 8:30 a.m. to remember the life of reservist Corporal Nathan Cirillo who was fatally shot while standing on guard.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper and wife Laureen visit the Tomb of the Unknown soldier in Ottawa on Thursday Oct. 23, 2014.
