Kelloggs/Hasbro promo - free $20 toy or game! OVER - now $10 off $25 toy or game

I don't really think Kelloggs cares.. The "promo" as far as they are concerned includes the 75k $10 WUS $25 which there are still a bunch of. As far as buying the cereal for the $10 WUS $25 though I personally wouldnt.. There are the FREE fisher price coupons available as well as mattel so I would just go that route instead.. My local loblaws never did get any of the promo cereal in while it was available so I think it depends on the stores and their demand..

what i mean is this is typical for Kelloggs. they offer a great promo and wildly under estimate the demand for it, the great deal sells out before the product(packages with promo on it) has had a chance to fully hit the shelves this isn't the first time they have done this and i'm positive it won't be the last time this happens..

Mattel is a $5 off tear pad. Fisher Price is $25 of a purchase of $49 or more regular price toys. Again a tear pad. Not free.

Kelloggs has little control over what happens with their cereal at store level. Even once it is loaded on truck, what control do they have over that? I don't understand the comments against Kellogg's.

Me either.. I enjoyed this promo and have lots and lots of cereal.. I don't think kellogg's is responsible to micromanage their promo. First come, first served.. As much as they can do..

Here's an idea for a better promo next time. Make 25,000 "gold boxes" (with the free coupon), distribute in all of canada, people would seek them out and know when they run out. all other boxes would be "silver boxes" with the promo $10 of $25... you would know what you get when you leave the store. maybe add a bronze with $5 off.

good idea for customers. but bad idea for kellogg's as a business. they are better off not letting customers know so they can purchase blindly.
also, it costs kellogg's more in terms of money and man-power to create/change printing plates
