RE: The Dove Hair Care offer
I was just in Safeway and it was/is marked $3.99 not $2.99.
If you're planning on buying this offer suggest you do it now and take the flyer with you as I'm guess it's a mistake and you want to get them to honour the flyer before they put an error notice up.
PS: Zeller's has it for 3.49 if Safeway is $3.99 then after AMs = $3.06.

Coupon Alert!
Today is, of course, 10% OFF Tuesday on a minimum $35 purchase.
Just wanted to alert people there is a special coupon (good to Oct. 10) that every cashier has and it is good today as well.
B$75G$10
So, if you spend $75 you get $10 back
That's a 13.33% savings.
If you spend exactly $75 today you can ask for the 10% on the remaining $65 = $6.50 knocking your bill down to $58.50.
That's a total savings of 22% on a $75 purchase.
Add in any AirMiles and you've done exceptionally well.
Add in too one of the emaildirect coupons is a B2G40 on aluminum cooking pans. The lowest price I saw was $1.95 so pre-tax $3.90 gets 40AMs worth $4.40. You're being paid to shop.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. The B$75G$10 coupon at my Safeway clearly states "valid Oct. 5 - Oct. 10."
I should add a deal I found that I didn't see in the flyer: Select types of Robin Hood flour 5kg $4.99 B2G40AM. $1/kg is my target price for flour so this was a great deal to me!Last edited by frugal_meems; Tue, Oct 4th, 2011 at 06:01 PM. Reason: added deal

OK, I didn't actually purchase it but CS explained it to me. I probably misunderstood and it should have been:
Spend $75 get a $10 coupon and also get 10% off today which is even better as the total value would be $10 + $7.50 = $17.50 instead of $16.50.
They gave the woman in line in front of me the coupon.

I don't know what the criteria was to receive the coupon, the cashier just gave it to me at the end of my transaction. But today's shop doesn't count... you have to spend another $75 between Oct. 5 -10 to save the $10.

The cashier just gave one to the woman in front of me who spent less than $75. Then there was a change of cashiers. I asked for one but she said I had to spend $75 first. So I went to CS and they said you had to spend $75 first and that the first cashier was wrong for giving one out. So mixed messages.

Here's the coupon I received. According to their facebook page, you had to spend $75 to receive the coupon. And then you have to spend another $75 to redeem it, so $150 total.

Got a call this afernoon after posting on Facebook:
Gee Victoria skipped [See Note below] and I have yet to be called for any of the 4 items I purchased through the auction. Come on Safeway, yes, it's as if they tipped the country on its side and all the nuts rolled to Victoria but last time I looked Vancouver Island was still part of Canada! ;-)
The response:
Hi Robert, someone will be contacting you from the Prize Admin Office to let you know the delivery date of your items. We appreciate your patience! -Krystle, Customer Service
