Thread: Have to brag about some amazing customer service at Target!!!

Boxing day I went out Target and the grocery store and in the process I lost my phone. Traced my steps in the Grocery store, no phone. Went back to Target which was a zoo. Asked at Customer service if anyone had turned in a phone, nope. But the guy who was helping me came with me to the electronics desk and the fitting room to see if my phone had been turned in at one of those desks. THEN he grabed his cell phone and walked around the store with me calling my phone to see if we could hear it ring. Nothing, he took my name and my moms number(the only phone number I could remember since it's 2 digits from mine).
I ended up going home and grabing my moms phone to take to the grocery store so I could call my phone while I walked around and found it.
Anyway my mom's been getting phone calls from a number she didn't recognize since Friday, today she finally answers the call and it's the guy who helped me at Target calling to see if I had found my phone! He said when the store closed him and a few coworkers had searched the whole store trying to find it and had no luck, but he was hoping I had found it somewhere cause he remembered how upset I was(all my Christmas pictures of my girls were on it).
I'm seriously shocked that he would even think to call to see if my phone was found, will have to thank him next time I see him in Target(and maybe get him a drink on his break). This thread is currently associated with: TargetLast edited by Lyssia510; Sun, Dec 28th, 2014 at 02:05 PM.

You need to tell management about him as he may get something from them as well. So nice to hear of good stories and good people!

Very nice , I agree this guy needs more than a thank you, acknowledging his efforts to management as well would be fitting.

glad you found the phone
maybe take the pics and copy them to another storage source, in case they are lost
+ 2
I have heard them in the morning huddle discussing great things each team member has done
I would call the store and let them know
I would send an e-mail to Target head office telling them you have a great feeling now about that store

So... did you ever find it?!?!?!
I'm surprised as well at how much out of his way he went. He must have had amazing family members raising him as you don't find many people like him around anymore.Insert Clever Signature Here

Like OP, I have had good customer service at Target. I may be wrong but I think they are trained to give good customer service. I bought towels and the cashier took the time to organize them by size, fold them neatly in the bag as they were on the shelf.
About 90% of the Targets I have been in, have good employees (except for that one guy at Oshawa Target)

As soon as I find out the employee's name I will let the manager know....I see him every time I go to Target but never think to look at his name tag.

Glad to know that others are noticing the Target staff. I actually avoid Walmart now.
