So basically, when they have the HUGE points event at Shoppers, and you don't NEED anything that day, can you just but a $50 gift card and get your points? Just use your gift card as needed?

For those who find it hard to reach $50 for the bonus events I suggest you take a closer look at the groceries in the flier and start considering using it regularly. For staple foods that I have to buy every week, Shoppers is almost always the cheapest. (Eggs, butter, sugar, Christie cookies and crackers, chips, pepsi, toilet paper, milk) It's very east to go pick up these things there rather than the grocery store, just make sure to compare prices so that you're getting the best price. Also keep in mind that things like the Christie cookies and pepsi are usually on sale every other week.
