Thread: Plain Jane Dinner Brag

This is my brag about combining the deals of the week and my menu planning.
Peppers were on sale 3 for $1, the ground beef for $1.99 lb, and the bacon was $ 1.97. Combined it all with some rice, onions and tomatoes to make stuffed peppers.
Next, I used a $1 coupon for the pie crust, making it $1, free Mousse coupon, and strawberries on sale to make this pie.
So, for a total of about $10 or $11 I fed 6 people (with a few leftovers).
I had no real set plans for dinner that day, but it all fell into place when I seen the peppers and pie crust on sale.

Yum! Very nice! My dinner would consist of Aveeno bodywash and Vim drizzled on top of Royale tissues lol

Those peppers are so cute and yummy looking!
Of course, if I had been making them, they would have been completely obsured by a lattice of bacon.
