AMAZON.CA QUESTION....

i normally order from the .com website and this will be my first at the .ca, so please bear my ignorance.

my question is, do i still have to pay the 13% HST tax when i order from their website? i live in ontario.

Yes I believe you do. This will be added on part way through the check out process. So make sure that if you intend to only use gift cards that you have that extra 13% available.

P.S. How does this work on the US site? I have always used the .ca site but have recently join a iRazoo which appears to only give .com gift cards. Would love to know your experiences with the .com site. (It bother me already that I will have to pay shipping!)

i like using .com coz i don't have to pay for any taxes coz i have them delivered to either my siblings house or my in-laws in the US. since they visit canada often, i just ask them to bring the items i bought. the .com also have those promo that if you're buying items worth US$25 or more, they also offer free ground shipping.
