My magical evening with Bryan Adams

So I have been uber excited about seeing Bryan Adams in concert this past Saturday. With good reason. He was AMAZING! My evening started out with my husband and myself meeting Andit for pre-concert drinks, it was really nice to meet her and her friend before the show and put a face to a screen name! We parted ways after they got us to the ACC just in time for me to ravage the merchandise table! With enough time to make it to my seat.

We had pretty good seats but I had a REALLY good camera which allowed me a great zoom for photos and video. So my first Bryan Adams concert, yes. My last? NO! I adored the show he put on. He was phenomenal! I'll post a few photos below that I took, and here is his song "Heaven". My first attempt at recording on my camera, hence the wee wobbly. lol But....*sigh*. I am indeed a very happy girl. And did I mention that I got to meet Andit as well? She's a pretty cool cat!



The first photo is a true view of the view we had. Not bad by any means. The remainder were the awesome shots that I managed to get on my camera. (I have over 100 but I won't post them all. lol) My favourite photo I snapped is the 3rd photo here, which I got blown up into an 8x10 today and decided to capture my concert experience and that's the last photo you see here.

Hey, Tara, glad you had fun! I shouldn't say this, but as amazing as the concert was, he's actually had even better ones. So you definitely have to keep going to see his shows.

And yes, isn't Andi a sweetheart?! Avon and I have met up with our hubby's a couple of times, and in TO to chat and shop, and one morning we met her for breakfast at our hotel....she's adorable! I can see you two getting along famously!

So many other SCers I'd love to meet one day!

I had a fantastic time, both meeting Andi & at the concert. And I think I still am in the clouds. Perhaps on Cloud #9? And if he's done better concerts I'm TOTALLY in! First thing I did when I got home was text a g/f and say, "next time it's a you, me and Bryan date." Already planning for the next one! We purchased these tickets when I was midway through treatment to give me some motivation to get through treatment. Something to look forward to when I was done. It worked!!

Walks, as for the quality of video that could be due to me not knowing how to take a video haha. It was my first attempt. Though I found the rockier the songs, or the more background noise around me the more distorted things sounded.

Patty! The white T-Shirt and Jeans days! My cousin say him in Buffalo in '83. He sent me a photo of that concert, wanted me to compare how he's looking "Now and Then" lol Here is was back in 1983 in those white T-Shirt and Jean days. And When he sang "Everything I do". I almost died.

I wish my husband was cured of what ails him, unfortunately he is not. Infact, when I asked him how he enjoyed the weekend he said "I enjoyed being with you, I enjoyed the show he put on but I hated the people." Which is why the next concert will be my g/f, myself and Bryan And when I say drinks I had a bottle of water and he had a diet coke. Ask Andi.

Yep, my bff was the only one having wine (well, what else would you have with gourmet pizza?). Glad I wasn't the only diet coke addict there.

Mmmmm...diet coke...now I want one. I wish I could handle the aspartame, but it gets me all jittery and I get that restless leg thing!! My hubby always buys me that case of various sodas...crush, grape, pink stuff, and root beer, because it's the only company I know of that doesn't use aspartame in their pop! But it's been a while since they've re-stocked...maybe a phone call to RCSS?

Anyhoodles....you two sound like a great pair! I'm so happy that you met!!!!
