I can't believe it's Thursday already. Sometimes with a stat Monday the week drags on. Helps that the sun is shining. Another work day for me. DS has a game tonight but I plan to walk with a friend for an hour before the game. Left the house with a clean kitchen. Hope to tidy up a bit more tonight and tackle/finish laundry tonight. Should try and find time to post some new stuff for sale but have been so busy. But it can't sell if it's not posted! Have a great day everyone.

Busy doing gardening today. Watered and fertilized the 5 new little raspberry plants. Then we moved around the apple and pear trees to figure out where we want them. Then lastly I started some more seeds in my greenhouse:
Basil
Brussels Sprouts
Broccoli
Zucchini
Cucumbers
Canteloupe
Butternut, Acorn and Hubbard Squash
Pie Pumpkins
This weekend I'll plant another row each of:
Red Lettuce
Romaine Lettuce
Mixed Greens
Spinach
Kohlrabi
Then I just have two different kinds of beans I'm waiting to direct sow into the garden. Still getting some risk of frost here so I'll wait until June 1st.
Now just eating lunch and waiting for a pick-up of a $50 item. Hoping the sale goes through and it'll help pay for the fruit trees
Update: Item soldLast edited by bobbiegirl2010; Thu, May 21st, 2015 at 01:23 PM.

Good job Bobbie girl! I hope to plant on Saturday! I popped into RCSS on my way home to check if the Sweet baby Ray bbq sauce was still on and it was! 10 bottles for free
))) So happy! Love it, it is my fav! And great for the winter for the crockpot- I can use it easily now since paying $2 for a bottle to dump in the crockpot to dump in garbage adds to the cost of the meal so free is awesome!!! Will grab more this weekend to stock us up till the expiry date.

@Frugalbigmama why not keep the bbq sauce from the crockpot and freeze to re-use I have done that in the past with BBQ sauce as well as garlic spare rib sauce just a thought

@bobbiegirl2010 do you have another pear tree to cross pollinate? I think you need to have 2 to produce fruit but I may be wrong, great job on all your smart shopping, ps how are you enjoy your free days, getting things done, etc?

@jasper - I guess I could but there is something about using a fresh bottle when prepping the crockpot
I haven't had to worry about it for years since this coupon/sale seem to always match.

Quiet day here, dh & I went over what we will be planting in the garden in the next week. Called bell to change my movies and more to variety package, same price so no change - thinking will enjoy this package more but time will tell. I have to keep this package for 30 days before I can change back if need be, oh well. Dinner tonight is moose chili for the grown ups and grilled cheese with bacon for the kiddos. DH & I will be doing a bunch of errands tomorrow while he goes to an appointment to make the most of the gas and get the odds & ends wrapped up, things to be mailed, photocopied, etc. Really need to post some new items for sale and delete some adds that have no interest as it's been a while, we'll bring to the re-use it centre as I'm sure someone will appreciate the items and it's free. Writing down things that I am thinking will be expenses in June so that is nice.
