Clog was 1 ft in length. Due to a pipe that unlevelled. Short version, pipe needs to be raised so it enters septic level rather than on an upward angle.

DH found clog and where to dig using math. His intelligence is so different than mine and so happy to have him.

Granger! That is really good news for you both. Hope your DH does not wrench his back with all the work he will do now.

I think you can pick it up at any liquor store in Alberta, it is a tall can and it called Magners Pear and there is an Apple as well.Apparently it is an Irish cider? I checked LCBO and it is carried in some stores.

Me too Walks, went into Independent to get lettuce only this morning, well all the plants were at least 60 % off plus I had a deal for 10,000 points for every 50.00 spent on plants. i came home with 3 huge tomato plants, pole beans and snap peas (all have vegetables on them) and maybe a few more flowers but I don't want to talk about those!
I support you on your decision to spend on the bounce, it was worth breaking the rules for...mine, maybe not, but I will justify it because I bought vegetables!!

So apparently after reading about UCCB for children aged 6 and older, I should get to physically get the UCCB as they are not allowed to put towards current debt (long story there screw up). So I have not heard anything about when the cheques will be mailed out and having looked at the CRA website the next payment is Universal child care benefit (UCCB)
    | Next: July 20, 2015

So does anyone know if the cheques from Jan to June will be mailed in early July and July payment will be depostited on July 20.

I've not heard boo lately on this subject on the news - has anyone????

No I haven't heard a thing, I tried to do a bit of reading on the CRA site but they don't seem to be sharing a lot of detail. I just have Jayden and he is 17 turning 18 in October and we haven't qualified for family allowance( I don't think they even call it that anymore) for several years since I went back to work. I did sign up for direct deposit though in case we qualify until October.Would be a nice little surprise!!

We were under a Tornado and Hail Warning this afternoon so working in the basement made sense. My scardy dog dug his way underneath all the pillows on the bed. We didn't get any really bad weather, though. Our 2 cars - one just 2 weeks old - were pummelled by a freak hail storm a few years ago and we DIDN'T have a garage at the time. DH takes these warnings seriously now. Plus, as I was waiting in the left-turn lane to turn in to get the damage evaluated, I was rear-ended - so 2 claims on the same new car within one week - that came to bite us in the "you-know-what" when we traded the car in as it had to be listed as having been in an accident although it was in perfect shape.

I took my db to the optometrist today to get his eyes checked and then to another optometrist where he had bought his current glasses. The "fade to dark" feature that he had paid for has not been working properly - leaving a bright ring around the outside. Lucky we went today as the guarantee would have expired on July 11 - so they'll replace the lenses. He has a major eye problem, so these are very specially made lenses. Glad he could take advantage of the guarantee.

Last week of school for y'all! Then into a GREAT summer - I hope for everyone!

@thriftygranny some UCCB would be great BUT there is nothing being talked about which I find odd (sigh)
