If you are looking for a new mini-drama - have a look at Three Girls - here is the description ..
Based on the true stories of victims of the Rochdale child abuse scandal this BBC drama is sure to be gripping. The show will explore how the girls were groomed, abused and then ignored by the authorities responsible for their protection. Maxine Peake and Lesley Sharp play two women who were crucial in getting the girls the help they needed and their voices heard. Nine men were convicted and sentenced for the abuse suffered by the girls from 2008 to 2012.

Another new one just released on Netflix and elsewhere is The Keepers ... looks good... here is a summary
From director Ryan White (The Case Against 8, Good Ol Freda) comes The Keepers, a riveting seven-part documentary series about the unsolved murder of a Baltimore nun and the horrific secrets and pain that linger nearly five decades after her death. The series opens with the story of Sister Cathy Cesnik, a beloved nun and Catholic high school teacher in Baltimore who went missing on Nov. 7, 1969. Nearly two months later, her body was found and, to this day, her murder remains unsolved. The case returned to the spotlight in the 1990s when one of Sister Cathys former students a woman only known as Jane Doe came forward to share her experience of horrendous sexual abuse by the high schools chaplain. Incredibly, Jane Doe revealed she was also taken to Sister Cathys undiscovered body and told, See what happens when you say bad things about people. Despite this and testimony from other victims and witnesses of abuse, no one was held accountable, and the story was largely unreported outside of Baltimore. Through conversations with dozens of friends, relatives, journalists, government officials and Baltimore citizens determined to uncover the truth, White pieces together a story that goes beyond the death of a beloved Catholic schoolteacher to encompass clergy abuse, repressed memories and government and religious institutions that he says at best, dropped the ball over the last 45 years and, at worst, covered it up.

Our summer has officially begun, no time for much tv. I shall have to live vicariously through all of you.

Just a warning about The Keepers - watched episodes 2 and 3, it's very emotional and very hard to watch and listen to the stories as the former students remember their abuse.

games.....sooo many hockey games, thrilled when Canada came back to beat Russia! That was awesome, but you know I am not sad Canada lost the Gold, I was disgusted at the embellishment that our player did to see Sweden draw a penalty and then we tied the game up on that power play, so I felt THAT came back to bite us when the Swedes beat us in O.T.
Anyhow how come NO one here ever told me that King Henry has a twin brother? How is it I have adored Lundqvist all these years and not know he had an identical twin ( Joel ) who is the Captain of the Swedish team. I was thrilled for them winning, watched all the celebration on ice, it was emotional!

Watched the first episode of Loch Ness. The famous loch just provides the background for a police drama. Stars Siobhan Finneran as the DCI who investigates a series of murders.
