My dear sweet husband will make schnitzel for supper tonight. I'll look after the sides - mashed potatoes, veggies, and salad.

Fish chowder and toast- leftovers and I don't feel like cooking tonight. If I change my mind, it'll be chili and toast because I have loads of it in the freezer.

LOL! Lucy, that is hilarious-did you choose vermicelli just so you could rhyme it with telly!!! I can see it now, "well, I cant make just plain noodles cause they wont fit in with the poem! I know, vermicelli!" hope it was good, even if he didnt make it!

omgoodness! I am in such a rut, I really have no idea as to what we are having tonight, the fridge is almost bare and I have to get out there and shop for food! I just scrolled through this thread for inspiration so wish me luck, I jope I can figure out a few meals while I shop, sometimes I wish I could just have a menu placed in front of me and I could just point to whatever I felt! I even ask the family, anything special you all want for dinner and they always say whatever you pick!!! Off to the store...

Oh no! Loocie you caught me off guard , I didn't get a chance to put my pearl necklace on. At least I was wearing my high heels, you can't see my feet though. Yes, that was me slaving away happily boiling the beejeepers out of something. The char, burn and scorch settings were all working perfectly that afternoon so the family was treated to the usual fare.

Needed an easy meal tonight so decided to do porkchops in a mushroom sauce with baked potatoes and roasted asparagus with garlic. Everything in the oven.

I have spent the last few days up to my armpits in renos (ie: installing a bathroom and jacking out the concrete floors, etc...) so I am so glad I pre made those soups and pasta sauce so it's an easy thaw and heat
