I find the whole situation somewhat funny. I'm sure a lot of the users are going to want to sue over privacy concerns (and embarrassment) ... but what about their expectation of fidelity to their spouses.

Tell that to people on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. They are all looking for attention / instant fame, and think they are part of something "cool" and bigger. Just imagine how many millennials and some adults, are going to get a backlash from their social media posting when it comes to getting a job or climbing the ladder at work.

As the saying goes "nothing like a woman scorned" eh. Like I have said before, people that have preconceived ideas of what a bad person looks like / is, are only leaving themselves wide open

I don't consider the hacker "a bad person"; she/he may have done a lot of women and men a favour. Too bad about the suicides but evidently they weren't the kind to own up to their mistakes, just like all the other cowards on the AM site.

I think it's fair to say people don't need AM to cheat. There are a lot of women and men in married and dating relationships that cheat either at work, the gym, school etc. I was talking to a woman last week about the whole thing, and she told me 2 of her work colleagues who are married (for over 15yrs), both have guys they see on the side and do things with.

I am sure there are many more like this out there. The whole together forever these days is a myth with people in their 40s and younger. People want stuff for nothing / someone to pay for it, and when they don't get stuff their way, it turns into an emotional blackmail leading to resentment, and then the eyes start to wonder i.e. looking for greener pastures. Millennials are going to be hit hard in the future with more divorces....

The line between Infatuation and love has been blurred long time ago. Most are with their spouse either because of looks or to take advantage....personality and everything else i.e. good parent, considerate, sincerity, team player is way down the perking order.

I truly feel sorry for you if you genuinely think that a 'forever love and marriage' is a myth and that young people these days bond because of what they can get out of the other person. Such a sad state of affairs for anyone who truly believes this.....I hope you find that this isn't true at all....

Hubby and I were having a little fun about it a few days ago. I found out that there is a website haveibeenpawned dot com. We can put any email address in the link and we can found it if it was ever been exposed to security leaks from these websites. We opened our yahoo addresses and started checking every email address. Lol.
There was no one in our circle whose account was used in any of the "dirty" websites, but there were a lot whose email addresses were released from adobe website.

Did i mention that we checked our accounts first and we didn't have any bad/dirty activity going on in our life. Lol

kind of surprised that you would say
'Too bad about the suicides but evidently they weren't the kind to own up to their mistakes, just like all the other cowards on the AM site.', lynn
seems sort of cruel - people do do things that maybe not acceptable to all. but suicide?
hoping you typed before you thought.

thinking most know now that this site basically had men as clients, woman who joined barely said
anything, or met anyone, as it seems so did the guys.
