Since you dragged me back into it......You might be allegedly a "friendly bunch", but is a sense of humour lacking with the bunch? If smileys don't mean jack, what is their purpose on forums then? I was just curious as to the link between your friend and the scammer, but others decided to poke their nose in it and turn it upside down

We have all known Avon for a good many years before you came along, so YES, we assume she's HONEST! She's been concerned about her friend for many months, who couldn't afford to keep sending money overseas on promises that were made to her! I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you meant your comments in jest, but sometimes smilies aren't enough. Sarcasm towards any member is not tolerated.

Avon, FINALLY she's come to her senses!!! I'm sure you saved her a lot of grief, nevermind money, stress and eventual heartbreak! I applaud you, my dear Friend, for seeing this through to a productive conclusion.

That is all you can do isn't it, since you don't exactly know me....and ironically it will be wrong of you to make assumption as to what my intent was.

Side note: In this day and age, I'll hope by now everyone knows not to send money to anybody online regardless of if they look like George Clooney, J-LO or Beyonce'. Many documentaries have been done on this, as well as on the CATFISH phenomenon
