THANK-YOU SMART CANUCKERS

Since joining this site - I have saved a huge amount of money.
I have saved in excess of $10,000.00 all because i found a little site called smart canucks, i laugh now at how complicated this site used to be for me, the lingo alone confused me (to a "normal" person scop - is mouthwash, but now.... i do scops all the time, kinda addicted to scop-ing) i learned about scop here at SC, and its awesome. Stacking? you taught me about stacking at london drugs, and save on foods, oh how i loved stacking. Years ago seeing SDM flyers week after week with ads to spend $50 & get points. I used to think, COME ON, do they really think people are going to spend $50 week after week at SDM. little did i know. maybe twice a year i would go into shoppers & get asked if i wanted to redeem points and get $5.00 off. Y E S. Did i do the happy dance out to my car while singing, la la la I saved $5.00, la la la I saved $5.00 ( because to a non couponer, $5.00 was a great deal). Then I met Smart Canucks, total song-changer. Read about people getting hundreds of $$ free items????? Seriously? Then I read more and more and more posts & seen pictures with their mega free stuff. I was hooked. I've done multiple major redemptions since then, but all because of the information posted here. My happy dance song is la la la I just got $220.00 free stuff, going back in an hour to get another $220 worth of gifts free, la la la going back tomorrow and will do it all over again. Thank you smart canucks. Coupons: a whole discussion right there. I got a few coupons from superstore, found a few here and there and soon had 30 coupons, really thought i hit the jackpot when i used $3 or $4 in coupons in a single transaction. HA, how things have changed since then. Soon I was seeing your pictues of your Binders? BINDERS? that was just crazyness to me, no-way would i EVER get a binder, a Month later I was packing around 2 of them, they were fully loaded with coupons.. Thank you smart canucks. Then the pictures of peoples stockpiles, I thought ok, this might be going to far: how can you afford to get 10 laundry soaps, 12 packs toilet paper, 16 shampoos, 22 tubes of toothpaste? Then I found the top & brag sections here, where people posted: what they bought, where they priced matched from, the actual coupons they used and all with pictures. Then I was able to see how you were doing all this and the huge savings. About 3 months later my husband was assembling the new shelving we had to buy for our stockpile. (oh and he loves saving $$ also, he esp loves the free razors rather than having to pay $29.00 each month in blades). Again , thank you smart canucks. Price matching, yes this site has taught me how much one can save with pm, I pm all the time. Thanks again. And checkout 51, snap, etc etc, learned about it here, then i put the checks in the back, thank you. So now before i go out to do my major shopping and a few times through the week, i visit smart canucks, I always read the first few pages on the blog with the brag & top sections. I get huge savings each and every week all because of the posters here on smart canucks who share their deals. Here is a example of just the past week: coley3 posted her deal on sunlight soap $4.98 @ RCSS, $1.00 coupon, then the additional 3000 bonus points. I seen her post, got my coupons, went to superstore, picked up 4 bottles sunlight laundry soap works out to 98 cents each, went back later as found 3 more coupons, bought 3 more. so I ended up with 7 bottles for under $7.00. A few days ago I read a post by peachies, titled PC Frozen Fruit, about the double pcpoints/guidingstar points: spend $10 on can or frozen fruit or veg $ get 3000 points from pcpoints & 3000 points from guiding stars, so i seen her post, went to independent, spent $10 on the items and got back $6.00. Thanks you peachies. ( the guiding stars i learned about here, and got the cereal offer because of it that week). a few years ago i read a post about astro yougurt and free sketchers runners, yes free sketchers only $4.00 for shipping, i still have those sneakers. So to all those who take the time to post their deals and savings here, Thank-you.

You could not have said it any better. I have been only couponing for a little over a year now. Before I became a member I used to read all the threads you mentioned as a visitor then I decided to join only start posting a couple of months because i am not so great with technology but is trying and was also scared what if I ask the wrong question, but being on this forum was the best decision I could have make because everyone are like family and ready to help. I have a very small stock pile because I like to donate to the food bank, shelters and I give away a lot the seniors that live on m street because everyone lives like family. I could not have done this by my self. Everyone that post their deals help in every little way Great place to be

Awwe, like walking in your footsteps. I know we all share the same sentiments and I always sound like a broken record but I know I feel the exact same way and if it weren't for Smartcanucks site its lovely members I would never be in the situation we are in and able to help and share and actually make a difference as well. yes well said by fellow smart canuckers -thanks for sharing -this great forum has saved me bundles even thou I have couponed for 30 years -you cant do as well all alone in this world with deals and couponing -I have met some wonderfull people virtually and in person from smart canucks

So true! Reading and sharing deals on SC has saved my family a lot of money and, with a stockpile, we rarely run out of anything . . . which also means I'm not having to pay full price when we need something. One of the best benefits of being part of SC is the opportunity it provides to share the blessings with others. My local food bank has been the recipient of a lot of donations, thanks to what I have learned from SC!

Yes sc us a wonderful community for those of us who want to do the most with our money. Thanks to all who share their wonderful deals, and their trial and tribulations of couponing. Yes we have all had our share of trying shopping experiences with coupons but we persevere and adapt to changing times with less high value coupons but more cash back apps and pc plus and optimum programs. Always an adventure and we all benefit from everyone posting!...so keep on posting big or small!

Who can EVER go back to the old way of shopping?? NO ONE because looking thru your cupboards to see what you are running low on and making a list just doesn't work......because chances are those things are just not on sale this week. I too have learned a great deal from this site and saved a ton of $$$. Just when I feel like I should stop donating so much an opportunity arises were I GIVE AGAIN! This morning was an example of that. It brings me JOY!!

AWWW, memories! If not for this site, I would have never been ale to acquire the stockpile that I did. I would not have been able to help the people that have needed all this free( or nearly free) stuff especially now in these tough times. This site with all it's awesome members has been a joy to belong to. I'm proud to call myself a Smartcanuck!!!
