I was referring to their propaganda photo.

I don't believe I, nor anyone else suggested those innocents deserved to die.

Darina Gromova was the accident’s youngest victim. She stands on a windowsill, leaning on an airport window transfixed by planes below, in a photo her mother Tatyana posted from Pulkovo Airport before they left.

Tender images such as this, posted on social networks by Russian vacationers in Egypt, mark the last public record of their lives.

One couple had just celebrated their anniversary. One young man flew to Sharm el-Sheikh to propose to his bride. At least three victims marked birthdays during their trip, according to postings on Russian network VKontakte, Instagram and other sites.

Did anyone else hear the report that the recording boxes may have been so damaged by the sudden break-up of the plane, that they may not be able to retrieve information from them? It was that lady who CNN interviews when these crashes occur who mentioned it, but I just caught the tail end of the report...

I don't watch CNN, but found a report

Officials have said the boxes are in good condition. Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov said they had sustained minor damage, according to state media.

About the 'heat flash' they reported on tonight - that a US satellite spotted:

U.S. intelligence and military officials are analyzing the data to determine whether the flash occurred in midair or on the ground and what that can tell them about what happened to the plane, the official said.

Analysts say heat flashes could be tied to a range of possibilities: a missile firing, a bomb blast, a malfunctioning engine exploding, a structural problem causing a fire on the plane or wreckage hitting the ground.

So, there's a LOT to go in this investigation.

i so hope it wasn't a terrorist attack. Apparently, according to sources who should know, said that isis wouldn't have the capability of shooting down a plane at 35,000'...it would take much more than a rocket-laucher to do that. So if it was an attack, it would involve a more highly developed group or country.

Thanks, Nat about the boxes; I haven't heard anything about a flash, but then it was football night and I didn't listen to the news past around noon...will stay tuned...

U.S. officials have a "feeling" it was a bomb. not very professional and should not be speculating with so little hard evidence yet.

BBC news: bomb MAY have downed that Russian plane
Intelligence suggests the Russian plane that crashed in Egypt killing all 224 people on board may have been brought down by a bomb, US and UK officials say.
But they say they have yet to reach a formal conclusion.
