Was just looking over 5 differently 2017 monthly entries I posted and realized that I forgot about that special Cdn Tire 10 cent paper bill that came out last summer for Canada's 150th birthday.
Question-how many SCers held on to their commemorative issue CT bill? I spent mine.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

With PC Plus and Optimum coming together last week, all the points I previously earned from Shoppers Drug Mart can now be redeemed at Real Canadian Superstore (and other Presidents Choice stores)!
This week my 2,000 "Shop the Block" bonus Air Miles were added to my account so that means $210 I can use at Sobeys or Metro or Rexall.
I see FREE groceries in my future for a number of weeks!

Wow, I am always inspired reading your posts.
I have been filing away stuff that just got dumped into boxes when I moved in the summer. I found an old Christmas card that I was about to throw away when a Tim's card fell out if it. We always prepare a few cards with small gift cards inside them at Christmas for helpers who come -like caregivers and maildelivering people. This one was signed by my DH so it must have been made out 2 years ago and then shoved in a drawer. Don't know how much is on it, but I sure could have used a drink of tea on the road today. A little gift from the past.Last edited by avoncallingu; Wed, Feb 7th, 2018 at 12:16 AM.

Not saving any money, but by switching mobile providers last month, I'm now paying almost exactly the same per month as before but got a new phone, a $25 credit for being referred, 2 GB more data per month and a few smaller benefits.

My cell phone was fine and my friend was asking about the deals on boxing day. The other guy asked me to give him something to do since it was not busy (our town was snowed in) In the end I paid $0. My monthly plan cost did not change. More free mins and data and I left with a new phone, $60 case, wall and car charger, 200,000 PC PTS.
They basically paid me to take the new phone

I SCOPed 3 pork loins at Walmart this week, which saved my family over $30 on meat.
I also accepted a drop-in daycare kid one day this week. That money will pay for a babysitter for Dh and I to go out for a date on the weekend, since we didn’t go out for Valentine’s Day.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money
