My 10.00 Metro GC finally arrived. It was from a General Mills promo in the summer. I also received one of my MIR. I think it was free finish. I used 100.00 in PC points so it was a good week for other money.

I managed to get an additional $506 this month alone! A yard sale definitely helped.... so I'll be right on that as soon as the snow clears next spring! haha

Just applied for the Disability dependent benefit from my step mother, just have to get my school to fill out the form saying that I am in fact here. I should be able to get a 12 month back pay from them ($2,852.28 lump sum) and then $237.69/month until I am 25. Will DEFINITELY help with school, my dreams of a car and everything in between!!

Well old Trudeau finally came through and my application for CPP Disability Dependent Benefit has FINALLY come through (Only took like 2 months for them to sort everything out), got my lump sum back pay AND September/ October back pay as well (Since I applied in September for it). My lump sum amount came out to be; $3,316.38 and will be getting the $237.69/month on top of all of my other benefits (Trillium & GST/HST)

When I applied for the Disability Tax Credit, I remember it took forever to come. You can also have your previous year's income tax adjusted since the year of your disability. If it was something you were born with, I believe you can go back 7 years of income tax adjustments.
