I went down-town and when I was coming back on the subway, I saw someone jump in front of the train and kill himself.
It was the most disturbing thing I've ever seen and am still not sure how to reactThis thread is currently associated with: Subwayhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/cdp/member-...stRecentReview

I had that happen once too. Don't think about it or try to describe it to someone or it will stick with you. Do some reading or something else that can get your focus.

Someone drove their car onto the tracks near my house on Easter Sunday. There were witnesses It always makes me sad when someone's pain makes them end their life, but even more sad when they leave trauma behind on others by doing it publicly.
You should talk about it with someone if that's something you think may help. Sometimes just getting thoughts out and not feeling 'alone' with the information can help a person process incidents like this.

Ugh, how awful. I'll be watching the news for reports of this horrific incident. So sad that someone has to resort to something like that.

I am so sorry to hear this happened to you and to the lost soul who lost hope.

What an awful experience.
If you are 'into' homeopathic remedies; you can get some that will help with shock.

Oh wow, I can't imagine what you must be going through. I would think you need to grieve in some way. i agree, find someone to talk to. And I also want to suggest journaling about it. Just write down everything you're thinking and feeling.
So sorry, you had to experience this. I hope you find a way to make peace with such a disturbing event - and maybe even find a lesson in it for yourself...
Sending positive thoughts and energy your way...
p.s. imo, there is no right way to react - you feel what you feel... and f you're confused, that's ok too...

Traumatic expériences like that will stay with you for years. This is something you will never forget. Seeing and discussing this with your therapist is a great idea.
