Trying not to smother my DH in his sleep...it is our 2nd Anniversary after all?
Other than THAT......I want to get my floral planters done and start growing my wildflowers for those hungry bees!*~*~*~*~TRADELIST/WISHLIST~*~*~*~*

we did not really make plans ( kids work schedules often clash ) ahead of time, but yesterdays family BBQ turned out very nice just the same. DH and DS stepped up big time on Saturday by getting the gazebo up in back, carpet, lights, furniture, the works! Then DH went above and beyond with doing up planters, hanging baskets, etc. Eldest son trekked out from downtown to join us for the BBQ Sunday.
I love that the guys can just use Monday now to lay back and relax.

mom's funerals are over now
was very emotionnal for everyone who attended the funerals, mom was a MOM , needless to say everyone had watered eyes, even people who didn't know her for a long time...
we were 43 + a little one+ a baby at the after funerals lunch (family and closed friends)
nefiew came at mom's home to take a desk she wanted to stay in the family
we had a mom's family dinner at a restaurant in the evening, 12 + a little one + a baby
now that everyone's back at their home ....DH and I left alone trying to rest....
one of my bro said, we now can turn the page.....how can he say so.....maybe when you have kids to look after, it changes your point of view about loosing your parents.....i don't know, ....
edit to add, one of my aunts took the occasion to take nefiews and nièces emails, addresses and phone number.....to stay in touch...Last edited by Mia001; Mon, May 23rd, 2016 at 12:28 PM.
