Honestly, I am not comfortable using foreigner physician. Who knows how much REAL training they got!

By the time they go through the testing for Canadian standards, they may even be better trained than Canadian-born doctors!
I've had some absolutely wonderful immigrant doctors, no problems whatsoever - from varied countries such as South Africa, Pakistan, Ireland, England, etc.

Yes I know this routine....I see my cardiologist twice a year for a stress test. Twice he has told me he is changing my meds but he doesn't write the prescriptions. I then go to my GP and she looks up what he is changing my meds to, shakes her head and prints off my script. A complete waste of her time and mine, is it that hard to do it himself, I mean they don't even hand write them anymore how hard can it be.

True but some of them don't want to. I remember one of the my neighbour's daughter went to Caribbean med RIGHT from High school with 60% average. And came back last summer to 'practice med in Canada'. She failed the test and obviously did not retry but whine about 'unfair treatments'. The harsher exam/trainings are for these people who try to find easier way out."Freedom is a myth, love is non-existent and privacy is delusional! No right to live or die"
