Its a beautiful day out will try to do some yard work since all the leaves are in the from garden. It feels like a patio day for a BBQ . Will see Also want to do a little cleaning since the house was neglected this weekend. Have a great day my friends

Yep, I have no idea why I couldn't fall asleep when I woke up at whatever unholy hour it was (I don't keep a clock in our room), but I waited and waited until I saw the slightest hint of daylight, and I got up...I think it was just after 6am-ish.
I don't mind needles at all thank goodness, since I had to inject myself in the tummy with an blood anti-coagulant for 20 days after my broken leg repair. Oh dear, I can just see you cringing at that, Dan! :tongue: Just don't break anything!
DD is flying home shortly from the big city's conference and shopping spree, can't wait to hear what she found at the Disney store to use as a prop for our GS to open on Christmas morning to find out he's going to Disneyworld in March!! Mickey ears, perhaps??
@avoncallingu, I saw an article this morning (sorry, don't know where, it was on my tablet and wouldn't save) about the relationship between gluten (horrid stuff) and migraines! If you google something like that I'm sure you'll find it but it had quite the explanation about why and how that happens. If you don't find it, I'll try to get back to where I was, but I likely just closed the page when I couldn't copy/paste on that thing!! Can't even copy/paste a cute video anymore! :embarassed: Or as my long-suffering Hubby would say, "What have you done, now?" Hahaha!!
A bright sunny day after a whack of rain fell last night, almost all the snow that started on halloween night is gone, so yay! :)

I got hit with something yesterday and it was awful. I would get really hot and sweaty, then be freezing (took a while to figure out layering of clothes). I was terribly nauseated and very dizzy in an odd way. So that was my evening and overnight - barely any sleep, too. Of course, I could not eat.
Today it's just before 11 and I feel okay. Home care nurse came, along with a trainee, to do my leg. I even ate something, so hope it stays down.
Got news this morning that an "auntie" of mine passed away, at 87 in Edmonton. Her ex- husband and my dad were some sort of cousins - because my dad was an only son, he only had two cousins in Canada - with both families, we were close to growing up.
So I shall try to have a nap.

Did weights and spin class yesterday and today. She really pushed hard today and I think I kept up lol. Tomorrow I have a mental health appointment but will go to the gym afterwards. Hope everyone is doing well today. I thought I would share some before and after pics. :)

So, wasn't it just glorious out today? Mild and lovely, still is. I was out for a bit this morning, a small shop and a library trip.
I feel so relaxed now since I've been wrapping gifts as I buy them, trying to prevent being overwhelmed later.
Update on the cats and the tree! They have been absolute darlings. I've not seen any evidence of tampering with the decorations AND the tree is still upright.
@cabmonk it is just crazy to see the difference in the before and after pics! I know you are feeling the positive benefits of having all this extra energy too. Good progress!!
