A very busy Friday here. A meeting at the university in the morning. Then optometrist to pickup. Walked through the downtown core and picked up coffee, magazines, shoes, and some champagne 🥂 for an upcoming celebration. Also some beer for the upcoming hot weekend. Finally home. Had a chat with my U.K. tele provider in London and now will watch a show or two.

Wishing all a relaxing weekend! Tomorrow is groceries and yard cleanup. First I rest ...

oh boy....middle of the night post here, just trying to catch up on the posts. Watched the Jays lose, a late game....ugh!! but really Biagini pitched a great game ( again! )

Good weather for a few days = finishing up the planting in my garden. Heading out early to pick up the last plants I need and then fogging myself with bug repellent because the mosquitoes are like blankets out there. Other than a dentists drill there is nothing I hate so much as the whine of mosquitoes.

Good morning everyone . Its been busy for me for the last couple of days with school soon coming to a close for the summer. appointments its been crazy so trying to catch up here. @Natalka I am glad your son surgery was a success and i pray he will recovery quickly. Have a great day all I know the summer months are busy for everyone lots of socialising with family and friends so every enjoy.

Hello, Peeps!!

Busy weekend, lovely drive down south, a stop at the Tanger Mall in Cookstown, the Vaughan Mall...DH had the briliant idea of getting a wheelchair for me in spite of my reluctance...it was fantastic, as much as I hate being in one: he wheeled me around the oval, stopping at shops I wanted to visit, I walked around the stores, went to the entrance, he was waiting for me with the wheelchair and on we went! What service with a smile! The birthday party for my niece's 1-yr old daughter was absolutely lovely! Count 6 little girls about 1 year old each in various stages of crawling on the floor, and one boy! Ah, yes, those good ol' days. I just don't want to be around when they all turn 15!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful summer heatwave and staying safe and happy!!

Sounds so great, Lynn - hope you bought out the shops! Glad you are having warm weather you like - here I'm very grateful that it's cooled down and we've gotten a bit of rain.

My husband went and picked up Milan to bring him here - he said he so badly needed a change of place, too. (even though his housemates just got a new puppy, which he's enjoying being around - in addition to the dog they have)
Milan looks really good, and is doing great. Not in pain (though he's on steady OTC painkillers), but things are just uncomfortable for him. He tends to stand a lot, sitting is hard for him. He has been out walking, which is good. His appetite is back - he said tonight's supper is the first full meal he's had - but he's been good at eating his whole grains, veg, and fruit to make sure things move easier for him. He can't do any lifting or bending.
