Thanks @Lynn49 I have made that sugar cookie 4 times already and the are all gone . I did add more flour on my batch will have to make some this weekend so will know the exact amount now. Its a hit in my house

Oh, Hon, I'm so happy that you're enjoying them. DH has also put cinnamon in a batch and they're my favourite! We both did 2 more batches yesterday, one with dried cranberries and lemon rind/juice, and another with crushed candy canes. They'll be more for the kids' boxing day party, mostly for the youngsters there (esp the candy cane ones).
Sorry about the mistake with the flour, but I'm happy you fiddled with it enough to get a rolled dough.

The early morning 401 drive ( short trips out and back ) were slippery and slow ( never got above 60 km coming back Westbound ) but I also hear rain is now forecast for later on.

I WAS going to start baking again when I got back but that never happened, got reading and surfing recipes instead...time flies when you do that. Heading back out soon again...hope the roads will be less slippery.

It is very slippery here in Ottawa today too. I was shocked when, while driving out of the RCSS parking lot, my car kept sliding towards the car that was far ahead of me at the light. Thank the good Lord that I was able to turn into the curb, and stop.....didn't think it was going to happen. So....it's a good day, in this season of grief and Christmas....

Whackola day. Went to pick up little plastic Christmas balls that I will print "The BEST Christmas Pageant EVER!" on to give out to all the cast members and crew. I always do that when I am in a play at this time of year. Also picked up dog nail clippers and a new collar to mount Tootie's rabies tag and licence on. Got home but the marker that I thought I would use is not going to work. I bought some "Use Today" beef to cook up for Tootie and add sweet potato and then mash it up in the blender to make it soft enough for her to eat. Well, small problem - can't find the blender. I think I may have given it away in the moving process. So I am resorting to chopping it up into the tiniest of pieces.

My cleaning Helper is here today and I have described the process before.

Ah geez I have a pounding headache, hope I manage to rest. It started pouring rain on top of the snow on the ground. Hope it's not icy Wednesday, my aunt is picking me up for groceries at 11am. Someone was arrested in the building. I heard all this stomping up the stairs with big boots and then realized oh it's the police. They were knocking on a door and asking for rainbow lol. They were like you know why we're here you're coming with us. I assume the person said why because the cops said because you're under arrest. Anyway, everyone have a good night.

Good late afternoon everyone!!!! Just watched the QC flyers,they have some good deals!!!! I am deceived so much ,still not news from my trade of cheese coupons,will have to purchase Something else to my father.We just had the visit of my aunt with présents,a book and a giftcard for father and a cute bag,some warms socks and a big fruits cake and sucre a la creme box for me.I am an happy camper!!!! Supper tonight will be tacos with all the fixings,Wishing everyone a great rest of the day and evening and night!!!!Only 5 day until Christmas.!!!

Got my haircut and hot shave. Total was $47 and I gave her $55. I think it came out good. When I go for xmas eve I will us some hair gel.
