I'm happy most of the snow in the driveway melted away overnight (due to the light drizzle, and warm temps), and that the remaining snow hasn't yet frozen over...hopefully it'll stop raining before the chill down comes later tonight...

+6 today, can we believe these temps?! Unfortunately they won't last long, back down to -20 on Saturday, -10 on Sunday...I hope everyone is going to be super cautious on those roads and highways that'll likely turn into sheer ice. Be careful!!

+4 yesterday afternoon and threatened rain...now it is -11c and the wind is blowing and it is snowing!
Just got home from dashing around grabbing deals all morning.. First to FreshCo, then home, then to FreshCo again (I can only carry so much as I walk everywhere!), then home, finally to Loblaws and now home. Finally getting my first cup of coffee! Beautiful weather yesterday and really gorgeous today for a Jan 11!! Tomorrow also warm! Love it. After lunch I head to the LCBO to purchase some wine on sale and then to the vet to purchase some cat food for the beasts! Then I will collapse. But for now will take an hour and catchup on a Blue Planet episode. Cheers all!
@Lynn49 I heard about the article, it was in our local news today. Saskatoon was the only Canadian city mentioned.
The new art gallery recently opened, I haven't been there yet. It's been a bone of contention regarding the funding, way too many of millions of dollars for it spent every year by city council.
Way more reasons than that to visit this city - (well, not the weather like today....)
Hope everyone is having a good day. Went to walmart with my aunt and she took me for lunch and I went on her errands with her. We wanted to get it done quickly because while it was nice at +3 we knew the freezing rain was coming. Now by the evening the temp will fall to -15..
