    Got an email purporting to be from canada revenue agency. I hate these scam emails that way too many people fall for. The first red flag is that it's sent to my hotmail account which isn't the email cra has for me. Second is that it says I overpaid last year and they want to send it to me by email money transfer lol. All I have to do is click the link and fill out a bunch of info and wait up to 5 weeks. Not clicking on any links idiots lol.

    Good morning everyone. Another cold day have a great day evertyone its almost weekend @cabmonk hope you are feeling better and hope no one fall for that scam last year around tax time i got phone call from the same person claiming to be a revenue agency officer was having message being left for me or my lawyer to contact them one day I was so fed up I said that when my husband the Police officer come home you can call and after that no more calls

    Yeah the crazy scams keep going. Like the nigerian prince lol. But for the email I got, why would the CRA be depositing by email money transfer. Plus if I ever do have email from them it's just to say check your online mail in your account because there is a message waiting for you. And there are no links, you have to go to your account to login.

    I don't know HOW I didn't set off the smoke detector! DH has to check it out.

    I made Jenny dehydrated sweet potato sticks in the oven but they weren't completely dried out, so I put a few on a plate in the microwave for 30 seconds. No change, so I set it to 2 minutes...OMG!!!! There was smoke pouring out of the vent (so isn't that sort-of scary??), and when I opened the door, the house filled with smoke!
    DH said to Jenny..."Looks like we have to keep an eye on your Mom in the kitchen ..."....hahaha...anyway, he opened both doors, I turned on the stove vent and now I have a headache from it.

    Yes, life in the fast lane.....at our age....
