Feeling better today, not 100%, but better.
@flemeth , it's not the pressure headaches (as it usually is). I think this is just a chest cold.
I actually have an appointment with my osteopath coming up for the headaches.

@flemeth - thanks, yes, I got things partially straightened out in the States wrt my husband's pension. Did a little shopping. Survived the fire alarm at the hotel which found me out on the street in my nightie and coat. Got help when I got home for a massive skin reaction to the pneumonia shot I had had. It was quite an adventure. Had lovely chat with my friend who came with me.

@22hicks -sure glad it's been a fairly positive week. How's the Jakester? Rabbits, Rabbits,Rabbits! Can't believe I beat you with that.

[MENTION=27865]Dangerdan- I would love to hear the theory around an osteopath for headaches - I suffer with them a lot, as you probably know from my whining.

Well, folks, I will once again ask for your prayers.

My baby brotherB ( who is 18 years younger than I) has again gone into atrial fibrillation. All the usual steps to control his heart rhythm are no longer working, including shocking his heart to try to get it back into rhythm. He has an appointment with a cardiologist on Monday to discuss next steps which may involve surgery to cauterize the "hot spots" in his heart. I am so upset, but he is,I think, doing a good job of remaining calm and being optimistic. The theme of the first week of advent is, "Hope."

I am going to try to catch a few more winks, as I didn't get to sleep very early last night.

@avoncallingu , My wife's suffered from migraines ever since she was a little girl (little accident on her bike). She's seen an osteopath since she was young.
I've being seeing once for the past decade or so to help with my pressure headaches.

So the osteopath works on my neck, especially especially at the base of my skull, as well as realigning other points in my body. 45 minute session does wonders!

@avoncallingu , I'm so sad to hear about doctors not being able to control your Brother's a-fib. I pray his cardiologist has a solution. Having met your Brother, a kind man who is so generous with his love for his family, it breaks my heart to hear he has to endure this condition. I will keep him in my prayers.
@walkonby , it doesn't surprise me about Greg Zaun...any man who orders his bespoke suits two sizes too small to show off his "guns" needs far too much attention. Seems he found other ways to get that, too.
@flemeth , hope you find lots of great deals out there today for those remaining gifts you want to pick up. Patience, my dear....😉
@danger_dan , glad you're feeling better today...get lots of rest this weekend make homemade chicken soup, but not like my DH did yesterday! He strained that cooled, lovely chicken broth into a rubbermaid container which cracked wide open, spilling almost all of it onto the counter and floor!! Jenny enjoyed it, of course, as he was cleaning it all up...he didn't tell me until he'd cleaned it all up; I was upstairs sorting through fabrics. Poor muffin.

So Michael Flynn pleads guilty to lying to the FBI today. Interesting! I hope he's singing like a canary to protect his son and lessen even more charges to himself. The rats in the WH must be scurrying in frantic circles!

Ok! Have a great day, everyone! Nice mild day; I'm torn between wanting to finish the quilting and wandering out somewhere. Maybe to CT for their Pyrex storage containers? Or was that HomeHardware? I'lk check...might be a nice "joke" gift for DH after yesterday's soup incident...😄

Hon, your resistance has been significantly lowered, so you're chilled. Enjoy your fire...I'm sipping an Irish Cream just for you! After my trip to CT for all those Anchor Hocking glassware pieces, hauling it home and stashing it, then heading to GT for mini marshmallows and chocolate chips, I treated myself to a sip or two. Oh! And for you, too, of course! Hope it warms you up.

@22hicks Ahh geez I have a weird thing were I read things really strangely, close to dyslexia. I read that as I fell through to have a glass of wine lol. I was like fell through what?, Then I realized what it said.
