Good morning early and late birds!!

What a beautiful dinner at the kids' home yesterday, however, it was no way to re-start my diet was put on hold in ooohhhh....June.

Rainy here, too, but the morning air at 11C was so refreshing. I'd take mornings like this anytime over those sticky, humid days we had this summer.

@GoJays , your post about exchanging her kid for a cat was lol-worthy! I'll be sending that to our DD for sure.

Good morning to the crew here! TGIF for those that truly appreciate it.
A Blue Jays loss had me in the dumps last night, but thankfully this morning that bouncy little Frankie turned my frown upside down. He is such a hoot at times.

Interesting fact and sad for me is a while ago Frankie started freaking out anytime I turned on my digital camera??
This is why I have not been able to snap any new photos of him to share.
He literally knows I have turned it on, even when I'm across the room and nowhere near his cage.
Maybe birds have ultra sensitive hearing and the camera emits a sound I cannot hear?
Poor dear, he flaps and flits all around knocking seeds everywhere!
The second I turn off the camera he is fine again.

Dreary day once again here, I'll postpone my grocery top up shop until Saturday.

Wow, isn't that strange for Frankie to get so upset at your camera! I wonder what changed. The fact that he can't even see the camera is even more of a mystery!
We have to figure this out, we need our Frankie-fix!!

I couldn't find anything specific, only that they can develop phobias to things...loud noises, strollers, socks, lol...perhaps cameras, also?

What if you just placed the camera near his cage for a while, note his reactions....perhaps he may get accustomed to using it. Or he'll lose all his feathers on horror?

I never thought China would follow though after Chinese executive Meng Wanzhou was reurned to China, but they have now released the two Michael's from prison.

NEVER in a million years did I think either of them would see the light of day again, nevermind both returning to Canada!
I don't understand how a country can make another country hold someone prisoner without then taking them into THEIR country!! The US should have had that thing right from the beginning!

Thank God those men are coming home!!
