Did anyone gloat over the 2 time Stanley Cup champs getting their as*es beat by the Leaf's last night? ha ha
Why don't our guys play that hard in every game?? I must mention the penalty that was NOT called when
Laughton got hit from behind smashing him into the boards. Came up with a bleeding cut on his nose but the
refs didn't catch it???

Good morning @walkonby . Yes my family was happy about the win. You are correct we need the Players to show up at every game and give it there all.

There are some animal videos that simply make me shake my head and shout " what are you doing!! "
This one takes the cake. In a zoo in Poland this tiny 13 kg male deer takes on a 1.7 ton Rhino!!

sniff, sniff.... I had a bad feeling that our Maple Leaf's would be exhausted after winning the late game in Colorado and then travelling to Utah.
Never expected to be slammed 6-1 though....OUCH!!!

Good morning @walkonby I did not watch the game . But my DH said he turn the TV off after second period.

We are having some nasty weather for the next few days. Netflix or Crave will be my best friend for today.

Everyone be careful if you are to be out and about

@flemeth pm'd you. WAY too much snow here = I'll hibernate curled up in my recliner till it melts. ha ha

Update on Claudius. Most emotionally painful visit ever! ( for me ).
Each of Claudius' nails that had curled and overgrew right into the paw pads on both front paws
had to first be clipped and then PULLED out of the paw pad! There were a total of 4 nails like that!

Claudius DID NOT like this at all!
I've never ever heard him cry out, hiss and spit like that in all the time we've had him. Oh sure he'd
growl and chase the dogs back in the day, Hamlet and him have had some battles but THIS?!!

So he was given an injection of antibiotic ( covers him for 12 weeks, which I loved ) , pain meds given
as soon as we got back home. Lots of snuggles, cuddles and TLC is on his agenda now.

Ty for all who have been so kind and understanding about my worry over him. We look forward to his
18th birthday now on Jan 30th!!

@walkonby I hear you about the emotional visit. Glad Claudius visit to the vet got the nails taking care of . Yes definitely lots of TLC .
