Yay! Picked up another Temptations cooking set....fyi: great prices today!!

I just had to post these items from The Shopping Channel, since they're at such a great price!
I had already purchased and received my Temptations 3-piece round baking set: 1qt, 1/5qt 2qt set plus serving and carrying stands and lid for 39.99, reg 89.99 in floral lace eggplant (deep purple)
...and it's gorgous! Fridge to oven to table!

Today they have these on sale for 39.99, reg 60.00 also...
...so I picked them up in my floral eggplant colour, too!!

I'm going to use the two middle ones to bake my black forest stacked cake for Easter along with my lemon tarts, but I just wanted to let you all know what a great price they're at now if you're looking to replace any ratty ones you have hanging around..

I can't WAIT for these to come in!!

I love them, too, and have a few sets.

So tempting (lol!), but geez, the shipping costs are crazy!
I also have a 20% code and today is the last day to use it, so I'm going to have to think about it long and hard by tonight...

Also, ebates is 3%, so that will help.

For me, the three piece round bakers end up totalling $52.12 - that's a lot.
I also was thinking of the 16 piece set....

I know they are on 'sale', but still I have to justify paying so much. Argh!

You're welcome, @Natalka....I hope that with those discount you'll be able to offset some of those shipping costs, and yes, it does come in with a little sticker shock, but for the convenience and the fact that no one else sells them and jeepers creepers, it just feels so much nicer to have nice things to serve our wonderful concoctions in, right?

Actually, I just checked my totals...for those 4 cake pans, @ $40, the total, all in came to
$57.59, which I think is pretty darn good for such heavy items. In stores I bet I couldn't buy one of those larger single ones for $40, let along a set of 4.

That first set of 3 bakers was much heavier, and the $40 set came in at $62.11
I defy mysef to find anything here with all those pretty pieces for that price..

.. @Shwa Girl , two weeks ago I was making our DD her 40th b'day cake to have at their place after we all went out for dinner, and it HAD, just HAD to be the chocolate cake that I make that's so fudgey and everyone just loves it.
For Easter, I was going to make a white forest cake, but oh, noooooo...our DD has conspired with her MIL, lol...and it's that chocolate cake again!! Honestly! That's why I'm making those lemon tarts...at least they feel like spring! Maybe I'll set my peeps, one on each, on those. One thing I do every year is put peeps somewhere on my desserts!!
But oh....another chocolate cake...her MIL said on her b'day that I could sell them!! If they only knew how easy my "secret" recipe is....!! It IS decadent, though..

I have a set of the nesting bowls, 3 sets of the mug, saucer and spoons, which I use all the time. I agree that shipping is expensive. So for some of the sets I waited until there was a coupon for free shipping-then I took advantage. These coupons are few and far between, however.
