If the word "fat" was replaced by "gay", "black", "native"...would THAT be more cause for concern and fury than shaming girls who are overweight?!!!

I've sent that item page to various persons in authority, but for the love of GOD, how does crap like this get past any reviewers they have??!! I've also of course, contacted amazon.

Thank you for your timely response, but I can't imagine how something this insensitive could have passed by any sort of sctutiny by members of your staff. It should NEVER have been offered for sale.
Until that clothing article and others like it have been removed, I'll shop elsewhere.

I sure hope it does not take them up to 2 weeks to get it removed from the website. Many young women already feel so deflated by beauty and size standards that they cannot possibly meet, this compounds their feelings of " not good enough ".

Thank you, @saundyl, @walkonby....I was so furious...I contacted the news, my MPP...lol...just about anyone I could think of that may be able to shed some light on such offensive articles as that one.

Tweens and teens are already balancing on a thread wrt how they compare themselves to the ads and photo-shopped models/ "stars" in magazines and tv...they don't need another reason to feel ashamed of their bodies.

Lordy, I was/am so furious.

If I saw one of my kids with something like that on, the first thing I would do is question how good of a job myself and my wife did on bringing them up.
