I will be 23 weeks Friday Aug 8, my due date was Dec 3 but since when the results came back from my first ultrasound and blood tests he changed it to Dec 1. The results were low risk for downs etc and the heartbeat is at 140. I go for my second ultrasound on Wednesday Aug 13 to find out if boy or girl

Well it's nice to see that there are so many preggo ladies hangin about.
I'm at 29 weeks with my 2nd. my daughter turned 6 yrs old a few days ago, and so there is a huge gap between the 2. I will definitly try for a third, but not with such a huge gap. I really feel bad for my daughter, the poor thing has had a lonely 6 years.
My 2 pregnancies have blessed me with gestational diabetes. which means i'm going to develop diabetes, both my parents have it, and it sucks. even the 2nd time around it's horribly disapointing. meal planning is difficult, sweets are out of the Q, and of course i'm avoiding sweeteners so I get no help with my sweet tooth.
at the end of the day I wouldn't change a thing. I can't wait for my little alien to make it's debut, I just can't wait to meet it.

the english word for "marraine" is godmother!

and congrats to all the "moms to be"!! I wish I was a member of your group... I have 2 boys (2½ years old and 11 months) but I would like to have a little girl.
unfortunately, daddy doesn't want anymore kids...
maybe I'll be able to change his mind one day

Well I am getting ready to go meet my OB today. I am hoping she will send me for another ultrasound as the first time my baby would not show us if I was having a boy or girl. I really want to know this time. Having three kids 14, 10 and 8 and being due so close to Christmas I would be very happy to know what I am having so I can get some shopping done. I saw this stroller I just love at Sears and If I knew I was having a girl I would buy it. Its brown and pink.
Also this apt is important as I have been having so much pain in my left rib area. I think its my spleen. Baby isn't big enough yet to be kicking me there so I think eveything is just being paushed up. But on the outside you can actually see bruising. Not fun. It hurts to sit and walk. Its been just over 1 week like this.
Congrats to all the other pregnant members. I know most of us are having baby #2. 3 or 4 but I think every pregnancy is unique and I think we can help and support eachother through this thread. I myself know this pregnancy is nothing like my other 3.
I will post when I get back from my apointment

Just got back from Drs and she is great. I am so happy with her. She has made my due date Dec 16th and said she will not let it go longer(meaning I will be induced if I am not showing signs by then)
She also said this pain I am having is not my spleen but sounds more like a nerve that the baby is on. plus she is sending me for another ultrasound at 32 weeks so I still have a chance to see what I am having. Eveything went well with the apt. I am so happy

Congrats with the good news at your appointment ONmom, as you know, already have two little ones, 2 and 4, and am not planning on anymore, but hey suprises happen. I agree with you about each pregnancy being different, if I can be of any support to any of the expecting mommies out there, just give me a shout.

Hey everyone!
My daughter turns 5 in October (the 6th) and my son turns 2 August 24th. My daughter also starts Kindergarten this year, so I'm excited about that, but sad.
LOL.
Then, my third is due November 7th and then it's Christmas right after that! So..... I'm just a LITTLE stressed out lately hahaha
*~be a happy person, then you make other people happy too~* (my daughter made this up!)

I'm preggers too! :D
Almost 35 weeks. SOOOO ready to be done! Being pregnant is HARD WORK.
We're having a little boy. He's our first. Due in September, although I have been told due dates anywhere from the 15th to the 23rd. He's measuring right for being closer to the 15th. Either that, or he's going to be a big boy!!!!

Wow how exciting. First babies are so exciting.(well all ae but being first everything is new
) Congratulations. I am happy I started this thread. My first was born on her due date. The other 2 were not. I find they change the due date so much through out the pregnancy that it is hard to keep track. You get one for you LMP then another from an ultrasound then it may change again.
Have you shown any signs of being ready? (dropping etc)
My sister just had her first and they induced her 1 week early due to swelling and high blood pressure. My nephew was 7lbs 2 oz and she is a smoker. If she went one more week she would of had a big baby. (they say smokers have low birthweight babies) I guess he was the exception.
My first was 7lbs 10 oz. I was almost 18 when I had her.
I am really scared this one is going to be huge.
Best of luck everyone and please keep us updated.

Ok, let me show you 2 pics of my belly, and you tell me if you see any drop.
These pics are only days apart.

He certainly feels different. The front lower part of my belly feels so much heavier. And the peeing has increased even more, as if that was possible!!
