kashkoush, wow, those look amazing! They are my son's absolutely favourite, but we've usually get the frozen versions (obviously not great, I know).

If you have the time, could you post the recipe, or PM it to me? I've only made them with bought phyllo - your pastry looks so nice!

thank u Natalka, this is the recipe and am sure u will love them

    dough :
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 tbs yeast
i usually don't measure the salt but u can add 2 dashes
    2 cups flour
    2 cups water
    2 tbs powdered milk
mix all the above in the food processor and leave it in for 10 min
then add 3 cups flour and 1/2 cup oil to the mix and pulse till u get the dough come together
kneed it and leave it in a bowl ,cover it ,put it in a warm place , leave it for 30 min
    it will double in size.

    stuffing:
    2 bags frozen chopped spinach
    2 onions
    1 1/2 cup feta cheese
sumac "u can substite with squeeze of a lemon"
    salt and pepper

thaw the spinach and squeeze it or put it in a sieve to drain it from the liquid.
saute the onions then add the spinach to it ,salt pepper and sumac or lemon to the mix.
remove from stove and add the feta cheese .
    leave it to cool down.
i usually make the stuffing before the dough.

now shape them to the way u like it, and leave them on the baking sheet for 15 min before baking , bake on 350 and keep an eye on it ,they take less than 25 min depends on the oven ,i like to broil them for few min at the end to give nice color.
    enjoy

i didn't take the recipe from the internet , therefore am sorry for not knowing the exact measurment for salt or baking time .

Everyone is asleep. I made 20 pumpkin tarts, 8 cherry and 8 strawberry. I really really want to dive face first into them, but I will wait.

Last thing I baked were gingerbread cookies for Christmas. It's a yearly tradition with my mom. We cut down on the amount this year, but enough to still give out to our neighbours and friends.

I don't do much baking throughout the year. Closest thing would be frozen fries. Some of the stuff in this thread makes me want to bake more though, especially since we bought a new stove late last year.

The last thing I backed was chocolate chip cookies. I was experimenting making some chip cookies and it ended up tasting quite good.
