PC Optimum - SDM and PC Unite Feb.1 2018!!!!

They scanned my optimum card (that # shows up on my receipt with *** replacing middle 3 numbers) and then they scanned a PCO card (that # shows up underneath, with * also replacing some numbers) then it says current points balance underneath that.

Reluctant to give up my card, I went to No Frills instead to get a PCO card. There they said they couldn't just give my a PCO card (they had stacks sitting at the till) because they need to scan it to activate it and the system was down.

I think I'll wait it out until they get rid of some of their problems.

I got these two offers for SDM:

• 5,000 points wus $30
• 4,000 points wus $20

They should stack, right?

I would not have expected them to stack in the old OPT program. With the new one being the way it is, you might get 50k. :p

Cashier told me that the PC mastercard was the easiest. I had linked my PC plus and Optimum before I headed out this am - BUT what I didn't know was that I had to physically link my secondary MC to DH primary card - in order for the points to show up on my card

Was at RCSS about an hour ago and one of the cashier mention to me the system is down because there was a glitch and people were getting lots of points for nothing . I was unable to swap my card

Same, I was at No Frills, used my PC Financial linked to my new PCO account but couldn't get a PCO card since the system was down. When I log into the account, there is no mention that I purchased anything even though the PC Financial card was linked.

I'd trade with you if I could. Pretty much the only time I go to SDM nowadays is when I need to visit the post office.

Well, managed to snag my physical PCO Card today. Already had one account up (PC Plus PC MC -> PCO PC MC), and got my other account up and going (PC Plus Scan + Optimum-> PCO Card). Ended up exchanging my Optimum for my PCO and it went through fine, then used my PCO at Zehrs. Cashier was surprised when I pulled it out instead of a PC Plus card for exchange. But now everything is sorted out and my accounts are in place. Will probably have to help my father by phone since it has been a confusing and hassling process even for me!

Hoping that when someone tries $ off coupons and FPC's (or even the in store manager coupons) that they will update if they still qualify for base points/spending thresholds. I used up my FPC's last night on one last trip before the changeover.

I tried to get back into pcoptimum when I got home but it says busy. I did set up it this morning and I looked at my offers but did not see any for sdm. is everyone getting them or is it just me not getting any

Apparently, when I can get back into PCOptimum - I have to go into the primary's 'household' setting a and link my card to it. Technically it is the primary card holder who has to link the secondary card. I have a funny feeling that I have to create another PC id - and then link them. Can't get in right now to figure it out

Now I’m getting a different error when I try to link my Optimum card and it tells me to go to a store to get it fixed. The closest SDM is 2.5hrs away from where we live. The app also gives me errors when it tries to find a store for me to visit to get this fixed.

I loaded my new offers and over 1/2 of them are for items that I have never purchased. My other offers weren’t high value, but most of them were for items that I bought. I can’t even tell the app not to give me certain offers again.

If you merge online will a new card be mailed out?

So it now says that I have 4 cards, the one when I set up the online account, the new one I got in shoppers, my old PC Plus one and my PC Mastercard. The default one seems to be the one when the online account was created. Does anyone know how to make the one I got in store the default one? Also how to I set the cards so that they can only be used to collect points? I usually switch over manually when I want to redeem!
