Well I went to RCSS to check out there Christmas deals but not the price I want. But it was not a waste trip because I found some of the new coupons on the board was kind a surprised All was not gone.
Having a cup of tea now then off to walk my fur baby Thor before DH comes home. I will be helping in the kitchen. It will be a vegetable Lasagna for both DDs and Fish with something else for my self and DH he does not eat Pasta so he will figure what else to make.

Lilo-thanks for your comments about your boys and your situation. It sounds like they are picking up some of your frugal habits which is great! Of course DD has some frugal habits but we would like to see more and sooner rather than later-I guess we will need to be patient and not provide so much that there is no motivation to be frugal. She has been covering quite a few of her expenses for awhile too. I guess teens are still learning. DD just went to a friends on NYE so that was a frugal choice!

Flemeth-thanks for your commnets too about your two daughters-you both remind me that kids really differ in how good they are at saving. I hope your older daughter figures out what she wants to do workwise. I also appreciate everyones thoughts on estate planning and inheritances as obviously this is an important topic as we and our kids get older.

I worked at home today trying to ease back into work. Then tonight I did a double batch of banana muffins and a batch of what I call egg roll in a bowl, I froze it in lunch sized portions so I have lunch ready for a week. I added it my my lunch set of the freezer, it’s such a money saver.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

morning all. i am dragging today. wehave snow.... not alot, but its snow.
my tea is ready, and i am getting in the grove of the day

i think today will be a go with the flow kinda day. the last of the new daycare toys came yesterday. i have a few other items on my want list ... but i will wait on those i think. i like cash flowing them with my swagbuck/ earn ect money i get from clicking, and i need to rebuild that stash.

i am hoping the weather gets nicer, its rather grey and gloomy out right now. that certainly is not helping my mood at all.
i should do some menu planning, and figure things out a bit.
hope everyone has a wonderful day.

morning all - I slept from 6.00 pm to 8 last night ,then 10.00 til 4.30 then 4.30 til 7 so I feel great today wow a 5 year old takes a lot out of you for 24 hours but it was still nice her and I painting ,colouring and playing barbies ,making milkshakes and banana muffins

I have lost 4 pounds over the past month ,so this is my new year goal take better care of myself and begin this journey

I so need groceries -sobeys has a few wonderfull deals so may go there ,but sassy I want to get more fruit and veggies also in my life ,I don't think we eat out as much or get takeout maybe 3 times a month . I called swiss chalet yesterday as the whole meal with Ashlyn was not up to par -only her sundae was awesome The girl told me their French fry machine broke so they had to cut the fries by hand (hense why we had small nibs of fries)chicken was very overcooked I hate complaining but we spent $33(Ashlyn large sundae was free from CAA )so the lovely girl said a credit will be with my name next time I go in $25.00 so I thanked her

Our twins are on the mend, but now the rest of us are on antibiotics. Hopefully we are all healthy before we leave next week.

I’ve started trading some coupons on a couple Facebook groups. Very few people are trading on SC, so I finally decided to try out the alternatives. I posted a variety of HV and FPC coupons for trade.

We had spaghetti and meat sauce for supper tonight. Used my last bag of pasta sauce from the freeer. Finished the tomato sauce last month. Last container of frozen swisschard is currently thawing in the fridge.

I need to carefully meal and grocery olan for the next week. I don’t want to leave food to rot in the fridge when we leave to Cuba. I already know that yogurt tubes and baby oranges are on the menu. I was disappointed with the little oranges that I bought from Sobeys a couple days ago.
