Good Evening Everyone,
So we made it to No Frills before Mom went to work, I just hope she was not late. We got stuck behind someone who was Price Matching which normally I do not mind but it was a mess. She couldn't keep track of which items were to be price matches or what store the price match was from. Also a number of her items were the wrong products so the cashier kept calling people to go find the right product for her. We could not change as only 1 other one was open and had a huge line.
My plan for tomorrow is to make some salads and prep for the week to come. My plan is to go back to working in the office Monday and it looks like based on Mom's schedule I will be responsible for making dinner eat night. Normally I would not mind but I am concerned with how I will feel at the end of each day so I am hoping I can get quite a bit done tomorrow so after work it will quick and easy.
I will admit I am feeling sore just going to the store. I am not in a lot of pain or enough to make me need to take something but I am feeling sore. I just want to make sure we do not end up turning to take-out because I am in too much pain to cook. So if I can prep tomorrow and have some quick meals ready to go hopefully we won't turn to take out.
Well off to make a plan for tomorrow. Hope everyone has a wonderful evening.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Manage to line dry two loads of laundry today and we have a high chance of rain this weekend so that may be it. I think I will take advantage of the air miles offer and redeem for some fancy chocolate cake for Father’s Day as DH has a super sweet tooth. We don’t do gifts as we don’t need more stuff.
I called about the elders sons Resp as we deferred it for a year and now we start to withdraw. He will be living at home so need so star car shopping. I don’t know how the time went so fast.
Tuesday is our 25th wedding anniversary but he took care of the plans. We are doing dinner and the theatre.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Another 10 days of work and then heading to Ontario to visit DD and my Mum. We kids and grandkids are still providing 24/7 care to my 87 year old Mum while healing from a fall in March- but we anticipate by later in the summer she can return to independent living. DH and I take on the last caregiver shift on July 2-on July 11 my DH will head to Illinois to visit his family and then back to Alberta. I will likely need to stay on a little longer with Mum but time will tell.
Anyway we are quite relieved that her arm is starting to function again and she is doing very well-meantime she is thinking of moving back to Alberta in the fall-I hope she does as I really have no desire to spend so much time in Toronto-no offence intended to anyone who lives there. Still waiting to hear on the job situation for the fall-perhaps some aide work at my current school and/or helping with some newborn triplets I just heard about-time will tell.
On Monday DH and I each had injections done-I had a nerve block in my back to try and get rid of residual nerve pain from my back injury 2 years ago(covered under healthcare). DH had a lubricant injected into his arthritic hip to hopefully keep him more mobile and pain free until he sees the orthopedic surgeon next year re a hip replacement. This was $250 but will be worth it if it lasts the 9-12 months stated. It came with a $25 off coupon for the drug so he submitted that for reimbursement. Was not covered by our private Blue Cross plan. As my Mum says old age is not for sissies!
We are looking forward to catching up on our visiting this summer. We have 3 Airbnb's booked for the drive East so hopefully they work out well. At least the price of gas is not too bad this summer-although I will likely be flying home. I do have some Aeroplan pts I can use from a credit card offer so that will save me money.Last edited by lizzie bargain; Sat, Jun 15th, 2019 at 09:15 AM.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
A bit of a slow start to my day, I ended up sleeping until 9 am which is really late for me. I thought it was about 7 when I woke up and only realized it was 9 am when I went to take my phone off DND. Good news is we did not have any issues at work as we were open and normally I am on call if something happens.
I also have quite the headache today but I think it is the weather causing pressure. I am happy it is not super hot out but all of this rain is killing my head.
So far I have managed to make a bean salad, normally it is 3 bean salad but I only like 2 of the beans so I make my own version. I am taking it easy so I keep sitting down to rest so it took me quite a bit of time just to make 1 salad. I wanted to make a Quinoa Salad but I realized I cannot lift my Instant Pot which is my preferred method of cooking. Maybe when Mom gets home from work I will have her put it on the counter so I can cook up a batch of Quinoa.
I love during the summer months to have a few different Salad in the fridge that can be used to lunches or as sides for dinner. This way I can just make up some Chicken Breasts or a Steak and then choose the Salads you want as your sides.
I must admit when it comes to food right now I feel like I am all over the place. Now that I can eat anything again I want everything. It is making it hard to decide what to make as I need simple easy dishes as my standing time is still limited but at the same time I literally want everything. I have come up with about 6 different options for dinner tonight and now I need to pick one.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day, I am off to get inspiration in my freezer, wish me well, I am sure I will want it ALL.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Some highlights from my shopping this week.
Thursday evening
I went to NF this evening. I PM’d 9 jars of Classico Alfredo sauce & 2 Kraft salad dressings for a total of $22.02 + 10,000pts earned for spending $20. I PM’d the Classico to 3 different stores, which helped me get around the 4 prices match limit.
Friday evening
Walmart
I SCOPed a bottle of Aveeno body wash.
$7.97 on the shelf - $8.97 scanned price = FREE
My kids liked vanilla scented Dial body wash, but WM in town doesn’t have it anymore.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

I clipped 5 smart source coupon flyers. And there is seeds of change FPC I am stoked. I got up to go down to get breakfast upon getting it I put it in the fridge in case for later, because I obviously didn’t want it after all. I feel like poop today I’m in lots of pain and don’t know why I got out of bed. When I got back my CO2 monitor was beeping so I just pressed the reset button with a broom handle and successfully stopped.
On pay day I am hoping to buy a couple flats of Gatorade. To have it stocked in my fridge. When the weather gets to unbearable. Walmart has the best deal with $15.43 for a case of 24.
I think I am going to go back to sleep I am exhausted.
