Happy Friday!!!!
I have to make a quick trip to casino after work to get concert tickets and hotel room for my friend. Sold the extra pair of tickets for a deal for someone for $50 so pays for a tank of gas and was able to give my friend and her daughter much wanted concert tickets and fun hotel room for the night. A win!!
Youngest is having a sleepover tonight and since its beautiful out I'm sure they will be out on their bikes etc. Tomorrow is my niece's 5th birthday party. Will be crazy but should go by quickly. I owe my sister with all the birthday parties she helped me out with

Well, got a new work assignment. Actually they did not take away the old assignments, but gave me more.
Going to think like a SmartCanuck and find all the ways to make the added work, work for me-->- maybe take the findings and publish in a newspaper or journal
-->I think I will have more overtime since some of the new work is time sensitive and has to be done each quarter. Cha ching. More money in the pocket.
Hmm, is this turning into a brag?

@Natalka Love the bright colours in the image you posted for summer's first day (long time coming for Central Canada)!
@cath007 A new fridge delivery is so much fun! You double-checked the doorway widths to make sure the new fridge will pass through each one? Big cardboard box potential too!I have to get back to make smoothies in the hot weather. Desjardins is offering a year of credit monitoring, so check to see if you were affected.
@Giesledta Your personal radar is spot-on. Save your summer and avoid that individual. Hope that your driveway company explains the delay soon to you and comes through on work.
There was a dime on the sidewalk yesterday during my walk home (third time that day due to errands as well as the library routine). Picked up shiny coin!
Today, a victory-a dress was found at the mall for purchase and the weekend outing for Mom is saved. We saw one dress style at a different store but only one size was left and we were impressed enough to look for something similar and we found it near the end of our 3 hours (I only wanted to spend 2 hours and I will have to see Zara store another time). By the way, nylons are $5 per pair at Addition-Elle-display is by the fitting rooms and the price is much better than at the Bay, so win-win! I don't want to shop for dresses during clearance again as it was apparent most were at least one size too small for Mom and we know to remember Banana Republic when fall merchandise comes in-some very appealing pieces, just we're too late for spring/summer to find sizes. I was surprised to see some tall garments at BR and a deep rose jumpsuit got my attention on a sales rack--love the fabric colour as I don't see it very often.
Glad I brought water bottles along. It's apparent that the Kirkland caps are too shallow and hard for Mom to open so I will ensure a future Evian bottle with its deeper cap becomes Mom's go-to water bottle. I don't plan on always going shopping with her (and thus opening bottles on buses for her) and she needs to have certain essentials ready for hot weather that work for her.
The clouds and sky are really magnificent through the wall of windows at the computer area where I am. What a screensaver it could make for a future laptop!
Cheers to summer's arrival to Canada! Western Canadians experiencing their heat waves might find Central Canadians a bit soft, but the temperatures here have been acting summery this week.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Yes, this is bad news about Desjardins bank. 2.9 million clients are affected. I think they may offer 1 year free Equifax monitoring.
It has happened to other banks too
Last year, Bank of Montreal and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce said that cyber attackers may have stolen data of nearly 90,000 customers in what appeared to be the first significant assault on financial institutions in the country.

This morning I bought a roast at Walmart for 8.26$ regular price was 13$. It’s in my crockpot cooking. I don’t want extra heat in my house so no oven and find good ole crockpot recipes to make. I want an instapot but that’s on the wish list.
I gotta keep my eye on the time I have counselling appointment at 1:30pm.
I don’t like how amazon is archiving my orders without my consent so I cannot find them at all. Without extensive searches. Ugh.
