I went to shoppers yesterday and bought shampoo big bottle on sale for $5.99, tampax for $7.99, 2 for $3 wild cherry Pepsi bottles, and an apple gift card $15. I paid like $33. It adds up doesn’t...

I need another crockpot recipe for another dessert I sure don’t want too many dishes. And feel like the crockpot hasn’t done me wrong in the past. And the 3 ingredient apple spice cake was delish in the crockpot I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This morning I woke up early maybe because I went to bed early at 4:30am it’s 5:30am now. I want to go to Walmart and see what deliciousness I can dig up there or buy hotdog buns for the hotdogs in my freezer. I am not a big fan of hotdogs because I grew up eating them maybe it was a staple when I was teenager. And when I first moved out of the house I lived off them.

When I moved jobs and staff accommodations in jasper, Alberta I lived off pecan pie and a flat of beer. The job paid far less then what I was making out of town it used to be a 15.75$ taxi to that staff accommodation then in town it was a $5-8 taxi. Out of town I was making 10.25$ in town I was making 7.50$ an hour. And staff accommodation was 180$ a month out of town and in town it was $225 a month. And I had to pay for my uniforms in town and out of town I paid a rental fee. I bought a set of 3 uniforms when I was in town which meant less cleaning of the items. When they changed over logos and colours of uniforms it was harder to hide the bleach splatters. And everyone went over at least 4 uniforms a month in housekeeping of where I worked. I made an amazing amount of money working in housekeeping lots of overtime, and no days off unless they hired more staff. I did every job in housekeeping...room attendant, laundry, room stripper, supervisor and houseman. I loved being a houseman it was fun I made in the first month like 6,500$ after taxes. Because there wasn’t enough staff in housekeeping I was often doing my houseman job and room attendant and laundry. I used to working 16hour days. Flash forward to after culinary college I got a job at summer camp in Algonquin park and I was working 16hour days. I don’t see how I managed working off little sleep while I was there once or twice I slept through my alarm clock to be late for work and I had one day off a week. I remember getting another job and leaving as fast possible out of camp after he dumped on me a 2 week vacation. Where was I going to and what was I going to do. He told me to leave camp on a vacation but I had no money and I knew no one in that area. I felt like I was left to my own devices. That day I put in my resignation and he told me to leave camp ASAP. I phoned my dad and he booked me a flight out of Pearson airport. I also booked a trip on a bus to the airport I sat and waited all day outside of Tim Hortons. Finally when the bus arrived I was so glad to see it and they were like chit chatting with me to airport and they were very helpful of getting me to where ever I was going. I tell u Pearson is so easy to get lost in and so is yvr.

Ended up making steak fahitas with potato salad for dinner last night (salad was made by in-laws) It was really good!!!

DS has Dr appt. so hoping he will want to go to casino for free dinner since we are near there Then I get quality one on one time and no cooking I have over $200 in free slot play there that is only valid Monday to Thursday (use it or lose it) so would like to use it up and see if I win anything to take home. Then we need to stop at Costco and get our passport pictures done.

I am very proud of me: I only spend 12$ at thrift store and get 12 things because it is the 1$ event !!!
Did not find runner will try others places or purchase them new I still dont know...
Will have to return tomorrow for t-shirts and jeans because it was to busy and small space for me
    I purchased the following:
-1 pair of flip flop because I only have 2 pairs now who still fit me
-1 pair of tissue ballerine because the others I have are to small
-3 pairs of good clean loofer leather shoes for indoors ,outdoors and scool, one taupe, one red and one black
-2 leather wallets because 1 only have 2 ...taupe and grey
-1 big purse in zebree for sport as a bag of sport
    -2 bigs tissues purses
    -1 red leather purse
my dad found 2 good leather belt he wanted

so a little bit guilty with the purses because I have about 15 already but it is like my pleasure and 1$ is so cheap

retail for those would be at least 100$ I think.

I went to Walmart and bought wild cherry Dr Pepper, chocolate chip banana muffins, mini cupcakes, 3x full size packages of 4 chocolate bars (m&ms, snickers, aero mint) on sale for 3 for $9, & hot dog buns.

I was walking there at a good stride until I noticed that maybe I walked a little too fast I was in good amount of pain in my knee. Before I even reached Walmart and by the time I left I was spasming. I was walking past the paint store like two blocks away from home I couldn’t walk anymore. I slowed down to almost a crawl which now I could feel it a lot. I fobbed through the front door and fire door it was on fire. I had to wait for the elevator as it was on 4th. And by the time I got to my floor I was numb pins and needles in my feet. Opened my apartment door pushed the granny wagon through. I think the relief was climbing back into bed and it was like 8:09am this morning it’s now 2:10pm. Needless to say I think I pushed myself to injury which probably wasn’t a good idea.

I need a bottle of water but I need to get out of bed to across the room for it. Our water in town has high deposits of lead lots of people have tested the water around I don’t drink the water also it tastes like chlorine and I am allergic to chlorine.

I walked past a poster saying someone wants to stop a Rogers cell tower from going up in our town close to downtown. I thought it was a good idea to be honest it can be patchy for cell service. People always want to stop something that they demean isn’t good for them but don’t care if another wants it. Why cannot they get behind lead water testing for the whole town?
