I've been lurking on this thread for a coupon weeks. Was on SC a while ago but took a long break (hoping to get back to being more active on the site). Just wanted to say hi and thanks for sharing all your tips/tricks/ideas on this thread it's been a fun read.

finished up my work. I am insanely sore. not sure why, muscle soreness.... hmmm I have been trying to move more. ...
honestly i could use a good massage .... but that is not happening for a year or so . i might try yoga a bit more... really streach those muscles out.. hmm. off to pinterest.....

We decided to put super ecran this week with our cogeco bill.It is only 10$ per month and after 6 months 20$.We can cancel after 30 days if we dont like it.It is a french movies channel.Now I am looking forward to watch a few movies I miss in theater.Tonight it is menteur and last Christmas and most of the movies are on demand so score!!!!It is the Christmas in July thematic this week end,so I will enjoy that with popcorn!!!! We watched again a good movie midway.

Writhing to compagnies for coupons is difficult.....I got so many no.....and look for promotions in stores or coupons in internet....

Dinner is done, not bad still a few tweaks to be made. It was a little overcooked and the potatoes went a bit mushy but the flavour was good. I think next time instead of using Italian Seasonings I think I might try to but a Greek flare on it.

I have cleaned the kitchen which makes me happy, some nights have been so hot that once we are done dinner cleaning up is not an option, we put what we can in the dishwasher but the hand dishes sit. Tonight the kitchen is completely clean and ready to go tomorrow.

Can't remember if I shared this but I got a quote on putting AC in and before we even had the quote Mom decided it was too expensive and we aren't doing it. I now have the quote and she doesn't even want to talk about it, she has decided they are over charging us even though she does not even know what was quoted. She has talked to people who have Ductless and was told how much cheaper their install was but the people she is talking to live in Bungalows and only needed 1 unit where is we are a 2 story plus a basement and need 3 units. Based on my research the quote is very reasonable, I mean I am still not happy about spending the money but do not feel we are being ripped off. We will see if the current heat wave changes her mind.

I did something I cannot remember the last time I did, this afternoon, I just laid on the couch and watched TV. Cooking was done, did not do any cleaning outside the kitchen, no laptop, no tablet just laid there and watched TV, it was nice.

I do have one thing I need to get done for work over the weekend, turns out I started a manual but did not finish it and now I need this manual so I need to get it done this weekend. Shouldn't take very long as it is half done. Maybe I will tackle this tonight, we will see or maybe I will be on Pinterest like Giseledta

I went to WM and wore my mask...I’m definitely the minority in our community.
I did a fairly expensive shop, but am almost done buying the school supplies for our 3 children. Towards the end of August we’ll make sure that our children have inside shoes that fit them.
After some hassle, I scoped 3 items. I had to argue for the second variety of oatmeal. I was charged $8.75/kg for the grapes. By the time I had checked out their price sign was changed. We sort of compromised. I got one bag of grapes for free and the other bag for $2.20/kg. I also used $4.57 in coupons and $1 CO51.

Waiting for daughter/her family to arrive .I washed 2 sets of sheets today plus regular laundry

My dear daughter is in a 100 year old house and she and her hubby decided to do something about it next year maybe .As its just too hot .I could not be without my central air ,mind you in our first house we didnt have air conditioning the first few years .I remember the summer i was 8/9 months pregnant with my daughter it was sooo hot like now and that was 38 years ago,as she will be 38 in august .

Just stayed in today and finished my puzzle and it was brand new and one piece was missing and i didnt drop it on the floor .

Dinner last night was Swiss Chalet. I buy the GC whenever there is a PCO promo so I feel less fussed about being lazy. Typically on vacation we travel and eat all our dinners out so I decided if we dine out 6 times in the 11 days of this vacation that’s alright by me. Today we went to one of our absolute favourite sandwich shops and they did not disappoint. I have the SDM offer of 10000 PCO when you spend 30.00. It’s been ages since I have had this one so plan to take advantage on Sunday.

good morning all. just a lazy Sunday. so nice.
i do need to do laundry, and tidy up around the furnace a bit... Guy is coming for a quote o Tuesday for the ac. we suspect teh furnace is orginal as well... we will be getting a quote for that as well. things be getting interesting.


making pizza on the bbq and chrissy teagans Aramadillo bread for supper. maybe a salad as well

added a daily walk into my google calendar with hubby.


tomorrow will be easy. just 2 dc kids. so that will be a nice change , rain for the afternoon as well.

Good afternoon!
Cleaned the kitchen and grabbed a few groceries. I should go stock us up on alfredo sauce for $1.88 at GT. Ds's fav.

We went for a swim at 11pm last night. The sky was beautiful. As we were leaving a couple were heading out in their paddle boards.
I should cut up the peppers on their last legs and toss in the freezer for future pasta sauce.

Lots of great free video classes on Youtube. Especially since COVID I've noticed more. Some are really good too
