Afternoon All. I've been debating on sharing this - kind of difficult to admit that someone has me wrapped around his little paw .....

Our morning routine for the last 8 days has been rather structured: upon waking, Oggie goes out to the backyard (solo) for early morning "business" and as soon as that's completed, he comes inside for brekie. Then we wait a bit (coffee #1 for me and some play time for him) and it's backyard time again. He's on his own until the "business" has been completed, then I join him outside for a game of fetch for about 15 minutes or so. Back inside we go (coffee #2 for me) followed by some structured training. Then, out to the back-forty (green space behind the house) for walk/leash training and of late, off-leash training. By then it's about 11 - time for me to reconvene the job search and him to have a nap.

However, today, I woke up feeling very poorly. I decided to increase the fetch time (after about 15 minutes changed from the ball to a stick) because I just knew I wouldn't be doing anymore training - not indoors nor outdoors - as my throat was just too sore.

Oggie looked out of sorts when we didn't go into the "training room" when we came inside but he managed to entertain himself very well. After a period of time, while pouring my third cup of coffee, my eye caught a prancing blur moving quickly through the kitchen. When the blur stopped moving, I saw he had his leash in his mouth. He dropped it right at the back door and sat down beside it. Swell. I was caught squarely between "oh, isn't that cute" and "you've got to be kidding me". (I wonder if he thought he was being subtle?)

As cute as it looked, I didn't fall for it (didn't want to be setting that precedent, thank you very much). However, I did take him for a seriously extended lunchtime walk. He's sleeping under my desk right now and I'm very tempted to join him!
Courage is not the absence of fear but acting in spite of it.

    It's that time again Wolfie!!

    awhoooooooooo

Full moon is a lunar phase that occurs when the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun.

Full Snow Moon. Since the heaviest snow usually falls during this month, native tribes of the north and east most often called February’s full Moon the Full Snow Moon. Some tribes also referred to this Moon as the Full Hunger Moon, since harsh weather conditions in their areas made hunting very difficult.

Loocie may be an experimental rhyming robot, I'm
    not sure about that ....yet.
    Stay stoned...I'll be right back.

I guess, since I have not eaten yet, that it is a "Full Hunger Moon" tonight.

Well Argo, it looks like all the training has paid off. Oggie has you very well trained!
