Good Morning! No bus service today because of the freezing rain warning so no school for my kid. At least the dog will have company today.

I ordered bread and 12 pk English muffins on Flashfood app yesterday (.75 and .50) so stopped at RCSS on my way home and took a walk around. No deals. 3 pk romaine was $6.99 6pk $8.99 (I bought a 3pk for $2.99 at Walmart near hockey tournament on the weekend) I just left with my Flashfood order.
Using up what we have at home before I go shopping.

Last night we had toasted Westerns and potato puffs for dinner. Still lots of leftovers and all chopped up to make again or omelettes. I'm sure DS will make an omelette today. That under $5 ham from Food Basics last week is going really far.

Tonight I will spend some time in the laundry room and get stuff put away and sorted.

Going away this weekend. 1 night at family's home and 2nd night in hotel (free). So think tonight will start the packing.

    Have a great day everyone!

Today’s work was changed to Saturday so I had the day to myself so I went on a spring cleaning spree. I spent all day cleaning and it feels good but I’m exhausted. Tomorrow will be fun at work.

Save a couple of hundred dollars since the battery was under warranty and comped.

    Off to make dinner.

    Have a great night

I think my teaching interview went very well yesterday, but it’ll be a while before I’ll know anything further.

Today is my aunt’s 70th birthday. We just gave her a short call to wish her a happy birthday. Our kids sang to her. It’ll be her last birthday.

Oh that is tough for your aunt and the whole family Angela-my thoughts go out to you.

On another topic we just heard tonight we will likely be receiving a refugee family from Ukraine soon to host for awhile and help them settle into Canada-at least for the short term. There is a great need and visas are being processed in Europe and people are starting to arrive.

    Good Morning Everyone,
This week has been a bit of a week for me, I am just not feeling my best, it is not physical, it is mental. Monday I was feeling better but still felt like could the world stop turning for a bit so I can hide in the corner. I was able to flip my week around and switch to a work from home week which I think is exactly what I needed.

I did not take off work but was able to work from home, just focus on my job, and more than anything just get things done. I need a good week of just checking things off my to-do-list which is what I got. Except for the house stuff, that will be my focus today once I finish work.

Mom had hurt her shoulder to the point she could not use her arm. She went to the doctor on Tuesday and he is pretty sure it is arthritis but sent he for x-rays to be safe. I went with her for her x-rays because she could not use her arm, getting dressed or undressed was a challenge, turns out with their Covid Protocols they do everything they can so you do not have to put a gown on anymore. The doc did give her some anti-inflammatory which are working, she can now use her arm again, good news.

I have a lot of house stuff to get done, that will be my focus today and tomorrow after work. I also want to run to the store to grab a few things, I want to go today on my lunch but we will have to see how the weather is, they are calling for strong winds so maybe I can shop locally but won't head to the next town over. Things I want to get:
Ground Beef - We need to make Burgers for the Freezer
    Peameal - For Mom
Tide - On Sale, I do not need it yet but my stash is a little lower than I would like
Fresh Stuff - There are a few good fruit deals I want to take advantage of

Nothing too big but just keeping us stocked up.

    Happy Thursday
